Ironically though I do wonder if this Show ever was successful at managing to help people like the guy with body dysmorphia? Because he would've been watched by enough people to have maybe had someone seek to help him out hopefully.

I'd never heard of body dysphoria before that. The programme also featured a young trans guy transitioning to a woman. Not bizarre but back then not as common as today.

I think TV in general was much lighter back then.

The 90's TV was probably the decade that started to experiment with what we now class as common knowledge in society.

In the 1990s. TV chiefs weren't afraid to screen something different. Even it offended some people.
