He could have opened another account that no-one knows about - or in someone elses name. He could have legally changed his name. I suppose it depends how much he want to "disappear"
Unless he is no longer alive (which I agree is the more likely situation) but people can disappear if they want to enough.

Well this changes things quite drastically.
Drugs and money. Hmmm. Like a European county lines.
He might have been in debt with dealers and that doesn't really end well, does it?
Loan sharks, drug dealers, nasty business.
As a mother of must be a horrendous, heartbreaking and sole destroying thing to have to try and deal with....the not knowing and all the questions.
