This is all just about hateful, ignorant people taking out their hateful urges against the lgbt community, under the guise of ‘protecting children’ it’s completely transparent and nauseating

Are they blaspheming?

Do you feel the same way about people who hate on religious Christians like the Westboro Baptists or is that hate OK and welcome?

Do drag queens come under the LGBTQ umbrella?

Aren't a significant percentage straight men?

If you look at all the parades during pride month then I'd say that they either do see themselves as part of it or maybe they have just hijacked the movement.

The vast majority of drag queens are gay men, there are straight men that do it, but it wouldn’t be considered a ‘significant percentage’

Beso 28-07-2022 04:24 PM

So they dont come under the umbrella then.

What if the other parents don't share their sentiment? This was a ticketed event so why were they allowed to ruin it for those that wanted to be there?

I think some of the LGBT community said that they can stand under their umbrella ella ella ella.

No gammons allowed though.

"Drag Queen Storytime is exactly what it sounds like, drag queens reading stories to
children in libraries. The aim is to capture the freedom of childhood and give children
positive, gender fluid and unabashedly queer role models in a world where people can
present as they wish, where dress up is real."

Because we're still supposed to be allowed to protest in a free democratic society. You can disagree with what they're protesting about but you can't stop them protesting.

Because only parents that hate gays and trans people should be allowed to dictate what children see and learn obviously

Crimson Dynamo 28-07-2022 04:48 PM

Do you remember the one in Scotland last year ?

""A male who dresses as a sexualised parody of a women, goes by the name "flowjob" is hardly a role model for primary aged children."

Well, not by virtue of being a drag queen alone. If they're a gay guy, they're obviously LGBT.

This really.

As long as the Drag community doesn't allow convicted Paedophiles into their community then I don't see the issue.

Especially if they're only reading the children kids stories too.

“Anna Bortion” was listed as one of the funniest drag queen names by Pride alongside
Malestia Child”:umm2:. Ginger Minj finished as a runner up on Ru Paul’s Drag
Race.

The British Library promoted an event with children’s drag entertainer Alyssa Van Delle
, calling Van Delle a “hot” performer who will “have you on the edge of your seat and
gagging for more”. “Charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent” is a phrase repeated by
RuPaul, simply because the words spell out C.U.N.T. Or how about the drag term “fish”,
which is used to describe a very feminine drag queen or man that “passes”. It is a
reference to the supposed smell of women’s genitals.

I'll never forget the stage names of Anna Bortion & Malestia Child.

Dark Comedy still exists in 2022.:flutter:

Well thinking back to when I was a kid, I probably would've thought that they were weird and then moved on with my day playing Football, and talking about Sonic & Beyblade with my mates.

Kids don't think too deeply about this stuff.

Herbert from Family Guy exists, and is a wildly popular character for the Show, plus kids do watch Family Guy.

So ultimately what's the difference? Excluding the Animation aspect obviously.

And speaking for myself I am not uptight about humour, I never have been, and never will be.

You have posted many times about letting your young children play adult video games which feature way more than just sexualised women so why the pearl clutching now?
