Ch4HDnews reports

Imran Khan is now in Jail
3 years sentence.

His lawyer was arrested
on the route.

The Corrupt Power
is to call Elections in a few months.
Now they have locked him away.

bots 05-08-2023 05:15 PM

he has another 100 charges yet to come, he wont be getting out any time soon

Gusto Brunt 05-08-2023 05:21 PM

Now he knows what Trump feels like, all except they haven't jailed Trump.

Yet.

arista 05-08-2023 06:03 PM

Even Worse
BBC reported from Pakistan

No TV Station can show his Face
or report that he is being taken to Jail.

So they are keeping it secret.
Less protesters this time

I'm not keen on Khan.

This is a very strange Nation however in my view.
I never know what to make of its political and legal system and procedures.

bots 30-01-2024 10:38 AM

i doubt he is innocent in general, but the country is so corrupt it's anyone's guess whats actually deemed a crime

Good on the IMF saving them, again.

From Ch4HDnews
they say it is a Military Leader
who has given him a 10-year jail time.

Next week in Pakistan are
Elections,
some will vote for Khan's political party.

[Imran Khan: Former Pakistan PM
and wife Bushra Bibi jailed for corruption

Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have
been jailed for 14 years, the second sentence
handed to Pakistan's former prime minister in two days.
The two sentences come just a week before
the South Asian country is due to hold
an election in which he
is barred from standing.

Khan, who was ousted as PM by his
opponents in 2022, is already serving
a three-year jail term for corruption.
He has said the numerous cases against
him are politically motivated.
Wednesday's court case revolved around
accusations over state gifts that he
and his wife received while in office,
while Tuesday's case - for which he
was sentenced to 10 years - for leaking
classified state documents.
It is thought the two sentences will run
concurrently, although that has
not been confirmed.

The court has also ordered the
couple to pay a fine of about
1.5 billion rupees (£4.2m;$5.3m).]

This really is sounding ridiculous.

Can Trump not be sent to Pakistan.
He'd have plenty genuine grievances as to its corrupt system there.

bots 03-02-2024 07:29 PM

the problem is that in a corrupt society, all the powerful people are at it, so where can it be decided who is more or less corrupt than anyone else. They have all used it to feather their own nests at one point or another, and it's just a roundabout continually spinning shining a light on the next victim. If Khan had actually achieved anything of note, there may have been an argument for him being hard done by, but he did nothing, made no attempt to correct the system, so he deserves zero sympathy

Yes, and I think even though they say he's been jailed. He probably isn't even in the country but in a plush hotel somewhere.

Why do you believe that the Pakistan election can be fixed but the US or UK election couldn't be fixed?

a deal with the next leader
And Ensured Khan is Locked in Jail.

USA could go into a Civil War.

The UK is getting Tubby Starmer's New Labour this year.

[Two Bomb explosions have killed
over 20 people in Pakistan's Balochistan
province on the eve of general elections,
officials say.

The first blast killed 12 people in front
of an independent candidate's party
office in the Pishin district.
A second explosion left eight people dead
in Qillah Saif Ullah district,
about 150km (93 miles) away.
Many others were injured in the two blasts.
The election has been marred by violence
and claims of poll-rigging.
No group has yet claimed responsibility
for the attack in Pishin.
Details of the second blast
are still emerging.]
