i would think united now have grounds to terminate his contract so i would imagine its gone to zero about now, and then he will be available to play for whoever he wants.

If i was a betting man, i would say that was his exact intention when he did the interview

Crimson Dynamo 14-11-2022 07:57 AM

If you listen to Talksport right now Piers is about to come on to talk about the interview

Nicky91 14-11-2022 08:06 AM

i wouldn't want this turd in my team, not even if he's a free agent

am pretty happy as it is now with my fortuna, someone like Yilmaz might also be ambitious but at least he also remains quite a teamplayer, and not feeling too big for a small team as fortuna at all, but wants to help us grow into a stable mid table team with european cup ambitions

Burak Yilmaz therefore i find much better than Mr ''i feel too good for Man United'' CR7, if Ronaldo was a better player, he would set his ego aside to help out United also to use his experience to help youngsters learn from him and improve, but no he as usual has to throw a tantrum and basically insult entire technical staff :idc:

Nicky91 14-11-2022 08:07 AM

same also with Mario Gotze, a world champion player still at the top of his game even after many injuries, signing to all surprise for a year with PSV, and now shining with Frankfurt helping them get into subtop (around a solid 4th place so far)

and btw Rangnick is a successful sports director, especially RB Leipzig where he had surprise successes at, launching the coaching career of Julian Nagelsmann too, and i myself quite liked him at Schalke (back when Schalke wasn't as **** as they are now, and they used to play european cup football)

Cristiano Ronaldo faces an ignominious end to his glorious Manchester United career because of his savage TV attack on Erik ten Hag and the club.

United released a holding statement in response to Ronaldo’s incendiary interview with Piers Morgan and they have not rushed into any snap judgement on the Reds legend’s future.

They clearly will not tolerate Ronaldo’s bitter outburst and their short statement talked about “continuing” the “togetherness” in the dressing room being built under Ten Hag. The club said: “ Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.

"Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff and fans.”

United are now considering all their options in response to Ronaldo’s attack where he claims he feels “betrayed”, including taking legal advice.

They will also want to watch the Portugal star’s interview on TalkTV, which is being broadcast in two parts tomorrow and Thursday. United are continuing high-level discussions between CEO Richard Arnold, director football John Murtough and Ten Hag while the Glazers are also in the loop.

It is understood United totally reject Ronaldo’s stinging criticisms of them and Ten Hag and they remain fully behind the Dutchman’s vision for the club. Ronaldo, 37, was set to leave in the summer when the two-year deal he signed when he returned to Old Trafford in August 2021 ended in June and now he is expected to go in the January transfer window.

United are considering the manner of his departure and they may have grounds to sack him or they could terminate his contract.

Ironically, this would suit Ronaldo, who has joined up with Portugal for the World Cup, and he tried desperately to leave in the summer.

He'll be very welcome at Everton football club.

Just bring your boots lad and we'll give you a run-out.

Crimson Dynamo 14-11-2022 05:40 PM

The mans ego is out of control and Piers is just allowing him to vent to get views

He has done the Man U boss a favour

bots 14-11-2022 05:47 PM

Pretty sure Piers wrote an article about him in the past calling him a spoilt brat

Cherie 14-11-2022 05:55 PM

Shame it has ended like this, he should have called time on his career two years ago if he wanted to play every game for 90 mins p, he got a 4 game run ending with being made captain so United have tried

Anyone seen how well Messi is playing this season after so many said he was finished. Some say he's back to being the best players in the world. Great players can play long after most think they're done

I stand by my earlier comment. ETH doesn't know enough about football to treat an all time great like this.

Messi's scored 12 in 19 and 14 assists. Is that crap in your mind? 4 in 6 in the Champions league. I think thats rather good :conf:

Ronaldo will go some where else and light it up.

Edit: Some sources say 13 goals in 19. A has been, apparently.

Sorry I got it wrong. Its 4 in 5 in the Champions league in a group with Benfica and Juventus doesn't seem to back up your argument.

Nice chatting with you though :hee:

But last year he was finished, according to some. We cant go down the road that its easy cuz of his teammates.

Anyway, my argument was that he's playing well after so many said he was done. CR7 might just do the same.

no matter what people feel about Ronaldo's game now, he has behaved like a prima donna, and he certainly shouldnt be going on a talk show to trash his club while earning 500k a week and not expect there to be serious consequences. It's disgusting behaviour

its all ego and the fact he is finished

GiRTh 14-11-2022 08:19 PM

Messi's got double figures in goals and assists after less than 20 games. Incredible in any league.

This is what legends do.

Are you sure :)

Didn’t he recently score 5 goals for Argentina in one game ?

That’s probably more than Harry Kane has got all season

Another little snippet

Since 2017-18 Messi has scored 38 league goals from outside the box !

That is twice as many as the second best De Bruyne (19).
