I wondered why there was no opening ceremony, that is appalling given we pay for it
Listening to all the muppets today who had nothing to say when it went to South Africa or Russia Why are they out there, come home, you don’t need to be there to comment on a game in the break |

Qatar bribe their way to hosting the finals and the fans all **** off at half time. It would all have made at least a little sense if the country had thousands of football fanatics
|
Yeah I agree with Piers. Okay we all know about the problems with Qatar but it would be interesting to hear a bit more about other areas of the country - it's history, culture, how football has changed and grown there etc. All the sorts of thing you'd see in the opening ceremony I expect

The captains wont be wearing the one love arm bands :joker::joker::joker:
Money talks |
I agree with FIFA to hand out Yellow Cards
if England had the Political Arm Band on. The English Team will not upset the Nation and that is Correct. |
Once an Arm Band has a row of Colors
it becomes Political Fact |

Pathetic.
The OneLove armband was already the bare minimum. It wasn't even a rainbow. And yet they even wimped out of wearing it just to appease a backward hellhole? |

nowt to do with Qatar It was the worry that Kane would get a booking and that is more important than a virtue-signalling stunt as he could have missed a game |

Qatar is not a free speech loving country.
Which tbf was warned about back in 2010, but most people ignored it unfortunately. |
what about the BBC, the channel that wants to lecture us about human rights and climate change during a football program

I'm also sick of footballers taking the knee to gay and black people. I support gay people and black people. BUT, taking the knee is insulting. :fist: So patronising. It's as if there's saying 'we're white and straight and superior but we really do think YOU people should be treated better.' |
next european championships to be held in Turkiye pls

Nearly everything on TV/Streaming world is in your face with their Politics at the moment, and bizarrely the producers fight their audience in some cases where being overly political hasn't gone down well. |
