Star Wars was more realistic.

Imagine all that travel time to the moon only to get there and find out you can't get a toffee latte :worry:

No I don't believe it was possible , I don't want to be one of these 'conspiracy theorists ' ..... but radiation was a very high possibility. And it was very unlikely anyone could travel there & back to earth safely. Even the astronaut suits looked like tin foil, it didn't look like it would protect much.

Also has anyone heard of the Apollo 1 disaster, that was only 2 years prior ....which makes me even more skeptical that the moon landing was 100% authentic and not a hoax.

The radiation thing is debunked; apparently the dangerous radiation zone is like a bubble around the earth, and once through it (they move through it quickly) the radiation levels are fine.

I'm not convinced , what about the Apollo 1 disaster which was only 2 years prior?.

The darkened visors are so you can't see the actors giggling.

?

Apollo 1 was an electrical fire before it took off, it never even launched. I'm not sure why that would have anything to do with space radiation?

Because if that can happen before they even take off ,then how was it possible to actually safely get to the moon and land .The equipment & technology wasn't advanced enough.

believe it or not, a lot has been achieved through the ages with primitive technology. Thats the norm. There are literally a million things that we could look back at and say, how the heck did they achieve that then. The space program is no different

They're profound fiction I'll have you know.:nono:

Seriously though they're both cool franchises imo.

Well that's a bit like saying, if your car can break down on your driveway then how on earth can a car drive from Scotland to London.
