Had a really busy time over Christmas, with Hanukkah coinciding with it this year. Lots of people on Christmas Day... But for New Year it's just me and my old pot and pan. Mum and Dad are having the kids.... bliss.

"Did ye aye" is an extremely condescending phrase used to shut down the person you're talking to if you think they're speaking ****e. Can be used to convey that you think someone's telling lies, being a twat, being pretentious or simply to tell someone to **** off. A very useful and versatile phrase.
