She hasn't been found Zizu, it's just emerged that the phone was still connected to a teams call when it was found.

Which means that she went missing not long before the phone was found - which makes things even stranger, especially if there were no signs of a struggle or anything nearby. It seems the phone, dog leash and harness were all quite neatly sat on the bench. Of course it's possible she was sat on the bench with the dog off-leash listening to her call.

I assumed Cherie was talking about the young Scottish woman I’d just mentioned

Apologies for causing confusion

Oh, no it was the dog walker - it seems her phone was on the bench still connected to a Teams meeting which was still active (although everyone else had left).

Sorry Zizu was referring to Nicola

bots 31-01-2023 10:27 AM

if someone clobbered her, it's unlikely she would be far from that place, if someone attacked her without knocking her out, it would have been seen/heard by the rest of her team

Scotland
Rough in places

[A "key witness" is being sought by police
searching for a woman who went missing
while walking her dog.

Nicola Bulley, 45, was last seen walking next
to the River Wyre off Garstang Road,
in St Michael's on Wyre, at about 09:15 GMT on Friday.

Her phone was found on a bench still connected to a work call,
police said.

Lancashire Police want to trace a man,
aged about 70, who was seen walking
a small white fluffy dog in the area at the time
Ms Bulley disappeared.

The man, who was described as 6ft (1.8m)
and well built, "spoke to the woman in the area
who found Nicola's dog near a bench in the field",
the force said in a statement.

"If this is you, or if you know who this
could be, please get in touch," they added.

Friends of Ms Bulley have joined the search
for her with one, Emma White, describing
the situation as "a nightmare".

to ask what he viewed

Police still not doing enough
In my view

This is Not a Missing Persons?

Her phone & dog left there as someone took that Lady away

GoldHeart 31-01-2023 05:35 PM

It seems like foul play, I thought at first she fell in the water ...but I'm not sure now. As why would her phone and dog still be left there :conf: .

Yes GoldHeart
Police should say that.

No way is this a simple Missing person

There's been a guy local to me who has been missing for 4 weeks, he left home for a walk and never returned. They found his phone and half a bottlenof whiskey on the canal bank and he just disappeared. The police and divers have searched the canal.....no sign. I have a lot of mutual friends with his wife and she is beyond devastated....she knew of no problems and didn't think he was suffering with his mental health. He's just gone.

The family of this lady must be in bits...desperate for news but also not wanting bad news.

Police Still saying "Missing Person"

That just so wrong.

Her Parents fear she was taken away
by someone.

bots 01-02-2023 04:19 PM

why is that wrong Arista? If there is no evidence of a struggle and no body they can't make the assumption yet that she is dead

is out of character and revealed they asked police
if 'there is any chance' she has been abducted.]
