Who cares what direction - its South Parks 'truth'

The art of backhanded compliments is strong with this one.

Try and watch it if you can. It's excellent, and absolutely spot on.

The episode is only 22 mins long.

I've never been a south park fan , but i can see the amusement in the H & M clip . Reminds me of the spitting image sketches about them.

Jordan. 17-02-2023 12:26 AM

Omg south park thought it got axed about 20 years ago LOL

Glenn. 17-02-2023 01:55 AM

I stopped watching South Park when I was about 12. Just became very unfunny.

This new episode is Clever and Funny

its on all the front pages this morning

everyone is laughing at them (I bet Kate and Wills loved it)

It’s a cartoon, that’s a fact, no attempt to ‘discredit’ at all, so bloody sensitive

It just goes to show that people will enjoy things they normally wouldn’t as long as it involves slagging off people they don’t like, I don’t think I could care any less about a tv show that regularly mocks celebrities, choosing to do it to two of the most famous of the current time, the reaction to it on this thread, the sheer joy and giddiness at it, speaks very clear volumes though

You won't hear it here but there is also a scene in the episode where they mock one of the characters who can't stop talking about how much they dislike them :hehe:

Ah, convenient bit of missing information there, I’m surprised at the lack of balanced reporting for those that won’t watch it

Swan 17-02-2023 09:44 AM

I wonder how Jordan, Glenn and Liam feel about South Park highlighting racism in American over the years. How the NAACP Foundation has publicly praised Matt Stone and Trey Parker. How they've had an openly gay relationship with 2 boys, and how they had an episode dedicated to the 2 boys, and their sweet story of falling in love.

But hey, just a sh!tty cartoon for kids. No one cares etc...

I know the scene, the point of it was, Kyle want's to stop talking about them, but they're everywhere you look. Kyle was frustrated because as much as he finds them annoying, it's hard to not comment on them when they're all over the place, during their worldwide privacy tour.

No, you can criticise South Park all you like, and Matt Stone and Trey Parker. If you don't like South Park, you don't like it. No issues from me there.

At least their wealth and privilege wasn't handed to them though. They worked their way up from the bottom. Unlike Harry and Meghan. Harry has had his wealth and privilege handed to him.

The clip shown was from a different episode when they mocked Will's and Kate's wedding, and the Royals as a whole. Way before the pegging stuff with Will was brought up.

Oliver posted it as balance to show South Park aren't just singling out your beloved Harry and Megs.
