You can shoot someone if they are on your porch in American

This is just straight up false. Even in texas (which has the most liberal "stand your ground" laws) you can only defend when threatened, and then only with proportionate force (i.e. you can only shoot to kill someone if you have good reason to believe they're going to try to kill or severely harm you).

There's nowhere in the US where you can shoot someone on your porch just because they're there.

The reason you can (in some states) pretty much always do it if someone forces entry to your home, is because it's reasonable to assume that if someone has forced their way into your house then they are a clear risk to your personal safety.

No it’s not because I’ve seen an actual case
Guy shot and killed Simone who was on his porch and didn’t get prosecuted

but wasnt that the one where it was his daughters ex and he tried to break in the door so the dad rightly shot him?

Livia 18-04-2023 12:34 PM

You can shoot someone on your porch in Texas if you believe your life is at risk. Missouri has a "stand your ground" law which is similar. Not that I think for one minute this kid was anything but innocent.

I think there's probably more cases like this , but they don't all get in the media. I wouldn't want to live in America tbh.

America Is Fine
so long as you know the rules.

And this is how it goes down in gun free zones in Democrat run cities.

The sad thing is I'm not even shocked, I knew this happened more frequently.

We're more culturally similar to Europe than the basketcase that's America imo.

Their obsession with guns will always be a mystery to me.

The young kid
has now been allowed to go home,
that's good.

UserSince2005 19-04-2023 03:27 AM

You’ve got to be careful in america. It’s no joke. Parents need to educate their kids that they can’t just be going knocking on random peoples doors. What if the guy was a pedophile, this kid might have never seen the light of day again.

He thought he was picking up his siblings, be didn't intend to go to a random door.

Do you know that to be true or is that just one side of the story?

The strangest thing about all this is that Biden invited the kid and his family to the White House. Looks to me like it's being used to push a political agenda.

That's just pure propaganda and has nothing to do with this case. It's that pure propaganda that raises my suspicions that there's a certain agenda being pushed here.

Once you know the signs, it's easy to see. Ten years ago I wouldn't have noticed this stuff, I'd have fell for it too, but I've learnt so much of how it all works since then.

Crimson Dynamo 20-04-2023 07:32 PM

still at least Biden did not invite a man dressed as a woman for likes on tiktok for dollars to visit.. and ignore anyone else who did not tick a left wing gender war figure..that would be mental

What propaganda are they pushing by talking about a 16 year old being shot?
