Surely if some members want to ‘celebrate’ a certain person / sportsperson/ popstar then the ‘ appreciation’ thread should be respected ?

Why just apply the rule/law to reality contestants- it makes no sense tbh

The TV model knows that attractive people do draw eyes to the screen.

Because Reality TV contestants are just regular joe people who are not ready to face all of the vitriol that would be spewed on their appreciation threads if they were to come across them.

I don't think its a good idea to have too many threads where you can tell people they're not allowed say certain things about celebrities

Where’s the harm though

I can only see benefits

You would see far more threads being made and if someone felt strongly enough they could start a thread to slag them off ( a roast type thread)

I'm not saying that Holly is my personal favourite in the looks department in the Celeb world, but she's clearly above average in the looks department imo, even now.
