That was far from whatever point I must’ve been making on that thread (I’d have to re-read it and I’m not trying to do that this sunny Saturday afternoon) but you knew that already, didn’t you.

Not everyone loves dogs as much as you. Get over it.

No redway, you jumped straight in to MTVN's defence, if he wants to tell me to f off himself, that's fine. But when you compare brussel sprouts and dogs, i can't take you seriously.

Remember the footballer who was filmed kicking his cat all over the kitchen? It's not the same as him kicking a brussel sprout all over the kitchen is it? You are putting animals, domestic pets, which are pretty high on the scale of things to care about, than say fruit and veg, on the same pedestal

MTVN 10-06-2023 01:17 PM

I actually like dogs in general :joker:

I was specifically talking about rottweilers which I do think are horrible and should be tightly controlled. For me it's weird to have a dog like that as a pet especially if you have children or live in a busy neighborhood

I’m comparing brussel sprouts and dogs to point out that different people like different things (whether those things are animals or people). It’s not even like I hate the vast majority of dogs but I don’t have the same sentimental affection to them that’s always ready to take offence when someone dares to admit to not being as keen as dogs and assume that other people who think they might have a point are rushing to their defence. You really need to calm down when it comes to this whole dog-loving business. But knowing you you’re going to be like a dog with a bone (pardon the pun) because of how passionate you are about the whole thing and I just do not share that passion of pets that you do so I’m bowing out. Koppaberg awaits.

Well it's a ridiculous comparison. Just like your animal cruelty and racism comparison.

Anyway, MTVN just said he was talking about a specific breed of dog. Other breeds are obviously more aggressive than others. Using the word "weird" probably is triggering, i can accept that.

Also, i dunno why you can't handle my love of dogs? Also, you're suggesting im on here everyday talking about dogs or something?!

You really need to calm down when it comes to this whole ridiculousness comparing things that aren't even remotely related.

I like Rottweilers but I agree with you about having them as a pet if you have young children. Powerful dogs like that should be with adults experienced with big dogs only imo

Yeah, that’s nice, Swan. Bye-bye.

Spoiler:

Your avatar is a cartoon dog btw

Redway 10-06-2023 01:30 PM

Yes because Brian Griffin’s such a regular dog isn’t he.

If you’re looking for an argument about dogs, make your own original lines instead of copying what I say (that’s as lame as you can get) and making reference to anthropomorphic figures I already admit to having a soft spot for. Try and get the ball rolling for something new if you really have a new point that’s worth making.

Swan 10-06-2023 01:43 PM

Maybe you should change your avatar to a brussel sprout or something, otherwise you might give the wrong impression about your stance on not really liking dogs. Not everyone knows, or cares about Family Guy (which is a poor mans South Park anyway.

Redway 10-06-2023 01:46 PM

That stack of cards is about to crumble down. You sound utterly delusional.

Kazanne 10-06-2023 02:32 PM

Dogs are more loyal than most humans imo and my nanna always told me to never trust anyone who didn't like animals and through my life I have found very few dog haters,I understand if someone has been bitten by one ,but it is down to owners how their dogs behave,I myself have been bitten trying to part two fighting dogs,my fault not the dogs.

My ex had a Rottweiler when we got together and it was aggressive to other dogs, but humans it was fine with. My old Dad came to visit and it was so gentle with him which surprised me
