I've never known any woman in my life who has dressed for a man! We should all (men and women) dress however we want without being told we at making "errors". Seems very draconian to me.

I’m / we’re not saying women SHOULD dress for men !!

Many do though ..,

Look around .. stylish looking women for sure , some casual and comfy but many , many wear uncomfortable high heels , low plunging tops , short skirts .. are they dressing for themselves ?

“ I’m guessing women don't care what you think about their style choices “

Sounded kinda personal- apologies if I got the wrong impression.

If you’d added a smile or a LOL I’d have taken it as a joke obviously

It wasn't a joke it was an observation, why on Earth would random women care if you liked their trainers or not? And how is that a personal remark? it would apply to anyone who said the same

I certainly hope they are. Any woman dressing for a man is diminishing her worth. A lot of women wear heels because they make them feel empowered and sexy......if they are dressing for a man, its sad.

I would never expect any man to dress in a certain way....if they are comfortable in their style that is far sexier than someone trying to impress by dressing in a way a woman would want.

It's sad, out dated and old fashioned.

Surely you cant blame that on the hubby...he wouldnt be present, and if hes controlling as you said, he wouldnt want her out dressed like that without him...

Quick question....was it the kids dad that always had time to pick the kids up from her?

isn't that standard dress for lady tennis players? Similarly, men wearing shorts and trainers

Those women should be wearing heels on the court :oh:

I know heels complement some outfits pretty well, but how are they even a thing? I've never worn them, but they look so uncomfortable.

I can take or leave Joe Rogan, but years ago i'd listen to his podcast religiously, and he was saying he thinks people will look back in 100 years time and ask what were we thinking when it comes to high heels.

I agree. Thankfully this generation of girls (going by what I see with my daughter and her friends and my nieces) seem to have ditched heels for the most part. My daughter is 23 and she only ever wears heels (and they're small heels) for when she went to University Balls, weddings or for her Debs (prom?). She never wears them for parties or nights out, she'll still get dressed up and all that but an absolute no to wearing heels

What is the actual purpose of them? I've never had a gf who'd wear them regularly, only for special events and all that (as you say). Do women wear them because they wanna look taller? Does it make them feel sexier?

I legit feel sorry for women who feel they have to wear them, as i said, they look so uncomfortable.

They are uncomfortable, I mean ok you do get women who seem to like them and claim they're not uncomfortable but I would say most women find them uncomfortable, my research in to that is weddings and the amount of women who either end up bare foot or having changed into the pair of flip flops or fold-able flat shoes they brought with them in their bag

And of course it's a "sin" to wear socks with high heels, so it must be even more uncomfortable in this hot weather.

But yeah, you always see women carrying their high heels after nights out and stuff, just proves your point really

I nearly crashed the car today looking at this lady with what can only be described as painted-on tan leggings and a boob tube.

Walking up the road brazen as you like in the afternoon sunshine

I could not take me eyes off her I was so livid

disgustin😤
