karaoke bangers for me mean = easy listening, songs you don't need to overthink too much about the lyrics, something what is fun, you can sing along to when you had couple of beers (i don't drink but i know many in my province do, especially at Carnaval, Fijnfisjenie is a traditional music event here at that time with plenty of songs like this one i submitted here)

Also, I specifically asked Kate at the start of this game what I should be judging the songs on, one of the criteria was "personal taste" so :shrug: I'm not exactly sure how you think I should be judging these songs otherwise, should I just go ahead and give everyone 10's then from now on?

Nope I stated very clearly before the game started how I would be scoring these. Out of 5 for vocals, out of 5 for personal taste and I would deduct points from the total if it didn't meet the theme because meeting the theme is such a basic ask. I gave it 4/5 for vocals and 3/5 for personal taste and I didn't deduct any points because it met the criteria

To add if I was just giving top marks to songs I like and nothing else I would have given both Chili Peppers songs 10's in the last round but I didn't

Deducting 2 points for personal taste, when the games criteria is about good vocal.performances makes a mockery out he game imo...

Imo, the personal taste part should be the thing that doesnt effect the game too much, and a 2 point deduction for not liking the artist is harsh, especially when it's a game about vocal.performaces.

Well, tough quite frankly, this is how I'm marking them, as I said I said very clearly before the game even started that's how I would be doing it in a conversation with Kate, if she, you or anyone else thought that was a bad system they should have said it then.
