I don't have a tumble drier and wash most days......it's not been a problem getting it dried and I'm in Manchester

I knew you would like the wind blowing thru your knickers

So I'm in between I guess

I guess you could always drop a few lines of cedar-wood essential oil in your washing and hope for the best next time you hang clothes to dry out there. Clothes tend to retain a bit of the smell of whatever essential oil you applied to the wash (if you did) and apparently cedar-wood repels insects/spiders as much as peppermint is supposed to dispel rats and mice. So. Hopefully you can conquer that problem with the little eight-legged bastards.

That one is not even the issue now. It’s more about creepy-crawlies finding their way up to your jeans to give you a surprise worse than Jean Slater’s sausage surprise when you put them on. Spiders are the one of the animal I’d ordinarily fearlessly crush in any other context but when they find their way onto your skin it’s different. Creepy.

I can’t bear the smell of clothes that dry outside.
All my washing gets tumbled! Hubby hangs some of his own out, especially his bike gear.
Plus the tumble dryer means no ironing normally.

Some people live for Sunday night ironing (somehow), to be fair. Still.
