You say that but up until a couple of years back, if you were driving up the east coast in Scotland there were a couple of 50 - 100 mile stretches with no good overtaking spots, and you could legitimately get stuck behind some old sunday driver doing 40mph for over an hour :joker:. Infuriating! Logging trucks are another frequent offender because they're slow and even harder to overtake.
They've improved the roads a bit in recent times though, more dual sections so everyone can leave the slowpokes behind.
But a couple of years back we got stuck in a slow line of traffic for hours coming back from somewhere around Inverness. My wife was driving... I thought she might murder someone.
