So I’ve submitted a reggae song which fits the criteria but because the original isn’t a reggae song I’ve been “penalised” for it and I’m apparently looking for loopholes to get through the rounds? That makes no ****ing sense whatsoever and I’m not wasting my time so I’m gonna remove myself from this game.

His critique of mine was that it was boring and put him to sleep. He's got to expect a comeback from me if he's gonna dish out the insults. Does he expect a thank you from me? |
If the song fits the theme the score should not be less than 5.

The reason Nicky has given is just complete bull**** in my opinion. He makes it sound as if I submitted Elton John or something for the reggae round? I’m not taking part when stuff like this starts to happen because it’s just a waste of time and I don’t think it’s fair if I just let it slide either because 1) he’s just getting away with it and 2) there’s a chance he’ll do it to someone else down the line. |
I think you should automatically add 3 points on to Shaun's score. The judges shouldn't be allowed to go under 5 points. We've had this discussion before.

I also got 5.5 last week and fair enough. Maybe they didn't like the song. |

I agree and I have had several scores that are just silly given all the songs picked are completely within the correct context  |
Kate I'm not gonna be able to play this now until at least Monday. If you need to replace me do unless it can go on a break for now. I'm off camping and will have no signal

the cover version is reggae ok fair enough, but tbh we all know Twist and Shout more from the Isley Brothers
and i stand by what score i've given, listening to this cover was just weird i'm very open minded for song covers, if they are done the right way i thought i'd be giving more lower scores this week so i'm impressed from this weeks song line up as for my fellow judges, calling Many Rivers to Cross boring  and it is a reggae song yup, just slow reggae, same how Bob Marley no woman no cry is also slower reggae (Londonbeat btw covered a more uptempo dance version of no woman, no cry, fun fact, in the 90's if i remember correctly) |

Just LT and Barry to submit Horror soundtrack songs
|
Slim is the new judge, standing in for Jake. I don't have a time frame yet for how long that will be.
|
I guess people don't know the difference between Reggae and Dancehall
