If Kate said that sh1t, everyone would be saying what an adorable mom she is. It's also an ice breaker, and not that deep.

She has no need to be there at all
After all it’s Harry’s event

Sure go and support your husband but there was no need for that speech or for her to get up on stage

People have come to this sporting event not to see Meghan

It’s a look at me moment forever trying to be the centre of attention

Wife who supports husbands charity is not allowed to talk

The Slim Reaper 14-09-2023 11:05 PM

Fcuking hell, Angela wittering on about nothing but acting like everything is the crime of the century, is exactly like reading these threads :joker:

Consider: Do we know Kate's personal opinion on any topic at all.

Folks will argue that's how it's meant to be with the Royals; but we know Charles' opinions all too well, and William's, and Harry's... they're allowed opinions.

Kate doesn't voice an opinion and remains the darling of the crownhumpers. Meghan had a few too many opinions and was effectively exiled for her crimes. And then there was poor Diana... well.

And before we start down the "The main Royals can have opinions the spouses are just there for support" line... "Beloved" Liz never voiced an opinion in her entire half century on the throne. Philip on the other hand was a whooole bundle of them.

I wonder if there's a pattern .

Kaste is stoic and is too busy working for the Great British Public

The Royal female spouses have always been the real power behind the throne….and it wasn’t by unwisely spouting their opinions to all and sundry, which too many prominent peope feel the need to do. It wasn’t by bad mouthing their relatives or seeking attention by jumping on the latest bandwagon to get brownie points.

These strong, remarkable women were responsible for many great positive changes in society through their charitable work and behind the scenes politically.

Queen Mary, George 5ths wife,The Queen mother, George 6th wife.
…..and also the the best Monarchs - Queen Elizabeth the 1st, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
…..and now Kate.

https://www.the-express.com/news/roy...-Family-future

Kate 'real power behind the throne' as Princess of Wales 'making quite a lot of decisions'
"She is a very strong character who has transitioned from being a young bride to being a key player within the Royal Family…..
He continued: "She is a clever, smart, determined woman. And I’m told by people who work at the various palaces that she is quite literally the power behind the throne... etc.

So long as they do it quietly and behind the scenes eh jet. I believe the word typically used is "demure". I don't blame Kate herself of course; she clearly was well informed about what would be required to be seen as virtuous/worthy and has stepped into that requirement expertly.

We saw what happens if a Royal Bride doesn't do that back in the 90's didn't we?

Woe betide her if she ever runs out of energy for it all.

Too busy to have an opinion! It's not a new concept, I suppose.

As I stated previously, the insecurity that requires people to post inanity every time something different is posted, is stark. If I hadn't posted in the thread, followed by TS, this thread wouldn't have received any additions about *checks notes* Queen Mary and the documentary

Oh I see. If a woman doesn’t spout her opinions to fit in with all the other opinion spouters these days, she must be a weakling who just does what she’s told. Nice.

Jordan. 15-09-2023 12:50 PM

A recent online poll only royalist knew about and voted in found 99.9% think Kate has great opinions and is even more popular than Mother Teresa :smug:

One didn't want to have to take one's passport every time one wanted to head to Balmoral!
