It is the sort of thing that angers people because it's such a pointless act of destruction. It's not just any old tree either, it is quite an iconic one

I'm just mystified by the fact that he went to so much bother to do it, cutting down a tree takes a fair bit of effort, it's dangerous too if you're not doing it regularly

Yeah I was surprised it was a 16 year old because that looks like a pretty professional job which could go very wrong
