They work just as hard as bingo callers and let's not forget models have been on the show since the start

What i mean is, they have to go down the social media road. I was hoping for more diverse as in just regular people not all over the internet. A nurse, a bricklayer, a dentist, a circus performer. But they get these "diverse" bunch in with a social media presence in the hope of getting more eyes on the show (which is fine to some to degree) as they know social media people have loyal followers. Im not slating the process, i really hope it's good, but we've had far too many wannabe famous people in the house in the past, mainly C5 era, and it's just boring to see now.

We'll see. I was hoping more for a mid 2000's ish kinda revival. BB's heyday. But i guess times change, im not overly optimistic , but i do hope it'll be a great series.

Zak Srakaew looks like the Tik Toker, he is from Thailand

Glenn. 08-10-2023 12:19 AM

It’s a great mix of housemates. All walks of life. Varied ages etc.

They done good

DanielM787 08-10-2023 12:38 AM

Actually Zak is a model!

It seems by looking at his Instagram he appears to have an agent

Jamie. 08-10-2023 01:59 AM

That’s a shame. I was really hoping we would just get fresh, never-seen-before housemates. I want new, fresh-faced people. Not minor celebrities.

They will be otheres in there.

Of Course these so-called
influencers push their media presence.

In this house
it will look silly

Exactly this. Ordinary people who never get the spotlight. Next year they need to advertise the fact ANYONE can audition. Maybe put a little ad out there.. Doesn't matter if your a cleaner, construction worker, manager, nurse, doctor, receptionist, warehouse worker, delivery driver, graphic designer, IT support, gardener, dog walker, teacher, police, unemployed, etc... you ALL have the chance to go in the house.
I'm not diminishing Content creators going in. We need 1 or 2 of them because it is a normal job now in today's society. But actually I rather them people jump into the Celebrity version. Because we all know the term "Celebrity" is very vague.
The magic of Big Brother is seeing people who have NEVER been in the spotlight.
But I'll let the odd 1 or 2 off...

Same tbh, Farida Khalifa has been on tv previously before so she’s clearly someone who’s had tv experience had appearing on come dine with me and of course Blankety Blank. I know she does have a job as a makeup artist. but she’s clearly there for the fame as probably is Zak!. ITV clearly lied about there being someone aged 50 cos she’s just turned 49

The reason this type of program signs up these often irritating even unlikeable ( eg Jake Paul) individuals who may include ( influencers/ TikTok/ Insta / Twitter / etc) is that they bring along millions of fans and followers to the viewing numbers plus all the free advertising and promoting that also comes with them .

It even happens in boxing … there’s a fighter called Tank Davis who on average attracts 300,000 PPVs but when he fought a young challenger called Ryan Garcia ( 1.5 million various media followers) the PPV tickets sold ( $100 each) amounted to 1.3 MILLION !!
