Yes. If she continues picking on her I hope the crowd sides with Yinrun.

I reckon they will, no one likes a bully and Olivia is in danger of coming across that way if she doesn't dial back a notch.

Yinrun seems to be popular with people so far as well

To be fair it’s still the first week and there’s 15 other people, half of which are being quite loud. It takes time for some people to relax.

Agreed. Maybe Jenkin was right all along.

Now she's immune from the first eviction, i think her arrogance and entitlement will really come to the forefront.

UserSince2005 10-10-2023 03:21 PM

She doesn’t seem to like the foreign ones. Yet she seem to be gypsy or something.

But still managing to be an absolute gob****e at the same time. I feel like this is just bound to embarrass her more than anything.

I apologize a lot, some of us just do.. In my case it's tied to anxiety, I can't speak for Yinrun but I don't think Olivia making a bit deal out of it in front of everyone is the help she might think it is.

Beastie 10-10-2023 06:42 PM

Olivia is right. I've been told before to stop saying sorry.

It’s not what she said, it’s the way she said it.

Dogeatdog 10-10-2023 07:21 PM

Olivia needs to chill a bit, she comes across as a bit aggressive and she didn’t have to say it to Yinrun like that. It’s probably anxiety, I do it all the time and I can’t help it

Sorry to hear that

Babayaro. 10-10-2023 08:53 PM

Olivia’s problem is that she doesn’t know how to talk to people without swearing and coming across as aggressive

She is right, Yinrun shouldn’t feel like she needs to constantly apologise but there’s ways of putting your point across, especially towards someone whose first language is not English and therefore may not particularly be able to see past the swearing and raised voice. She doesn’t have very good social skills nor much maturity.

howget 10-10-2023 09:07 PM

Olivia is far too outspoken and loud, she gives me a headache which may turn into a migraine by next week.

DigitalSid 10-10-2023 09:11 PM

Western girls really do hate how much Asian girls show them up in terms of basic manners, femininity and decency.

Northern Monkey 10-10-2023 09:27 PM

I wanted Yinrun to say “I will not apologise for who i am! So sorry”

Swan 10-10-2023 09:28 PM

It was very telling how she acted after losing the rock, paper, scissors with Dylan. Didn't say a word, just walked off in a strop, then had a pop at Yinrun. Can't stand her.

Yinrun is the sweetest person in the house, and Olivia can just f off with her loud ass. She manufactured that weird drama in the kitchen with Yinrun which was so awkward to watch.

I get the impression Olivia is playing things up a bit for the cameras. The first night dramatics over being put up for nomination, shouting about the fish in the garden, the Yinrun 'sorry' incident etc - all scream to me that she's making sure she is going to get as much airtime out of this as possible. I like her for entertainment purposes though, so glad she's immune for now!

Nick_Trainer 11-10-2023 04:41 AM

Actually shouting at someone for saying sorry too much was just weird.
In Chinese culture eating alone is not a good thing, there are even Zoom's so you can eat 'in company' if you live alone. All Yinrun wanted was a person to eat with, she offered half of her food & then got randomly shouted at by Olivia for being nice.
Seriously Olivia, get some chill babes!

Even though the whole Mukbang thing has become a cringy mess on youtube , but didn't that originally start in East Asia aswell?. So i completely agree with you there on culture and traditions . And in different places and cultures... eating is more than just food, it's about spending time together and bonding. awww she's so sweet.

Yinrun is a very generous person, even in the live feed the other night she kept sharing her crisps with her fellow housemates. And like she said it's part of her personality to apologise, i hope she keeps being herself and gets more chatty and confident.

Ammi 11-10-2023 06:15 AM

…I don’t think that Olivia was shouting at Yinrun in any sort of angry way, she just has a shouty type way and that’s part of her…but she does have to understand also that if she hopes for people to accept her for her ways and everything she is…then she has to equally accept them and accept that Yinrun’s humbleness is part of her and doesn’t merit criticism…/…or public comment in the way it was given….in a flip of that situation, what if one of the others had shouted across a room full of people…you don’t have to always feel so hostile and shouty, Olivia…there is nothing to be shouty about so think on…..!!!!!!!!…how would that make her feel….

Well whilst Olivia has her obvious faults I think she was just trying to encourage ( in a strange way) Yinrun to stop apologising and to be more self assured .

I think Olivia should be applauded for that tbh

People forgetting how it started. Olivia lost rock, paper, scissors to Dylan, just got up and walked away in a strop, then took it out on Yinrun. She's a spoiled brat, used to getting her own way, and has never been told no in her life.

Am I remembering correctly?

Did Yinrun do Rock Paper Scissors with two people or twice against one person
