i don't believe any hm discusses noms by mistake and quite honestly, i don't get yinrun's popularity, she is one of my least favourite hm's

I just don’t see Yinrun as a rule breaker it’s just not her

Really? aww, how could anyone dislike her?

Dislike is a strong term for it. I just don't find anything she does particularly funny. The ant song for example was a complete load of bollocks to me

You're just annoyed she's outdone Olivias song writing skills, admit it BOTS :smug:

…it’ll be interesting how it all unfolds…I’m going to assume that the housemates have been told and maybe shown the rule break or heard it …and there appears to still be much support for her, at least from the ones out there and keeping her company etc…so would her rule break impact any nominations for next week, or no…?…hmmmm, I guess it might also factor in how it’s impacted these nomination by having hers cancelled…and if it’s all led to someone they’re close to, going because of the change of course it’ll take…..it’s a very interesting scenario…

bots 25-10-2023 09:52 AM

with 3 opportunities (including this week) to get rid of people before the final, the noms are likely to get very tactical. For example, if the crowd are all shouting get Kerry out, why would hm's nominate her because their perception is that she isn't going to win

thesheriff443 25-10-2023 09:57 AM

Why this rule break is different is that it comes after a rule break for the same thing had already happened
It’s not a new thing for a housemates nomination’s to get cancelled for discussing nominations

bots 25-10-2023 09:59 AM

yes, it's to stop everyone else doing it. A warning shot and then actual repercussions. A hm doing it now would be crazy as they would likely get booted or put up for eviction

and Olivia

…and also…if there are huge crowd chants in support of Yinrun, for instance…if any housemate had planned to nominate her for the rule break next time…?….would they reconsider that in feeling that public popularity…?..as I say, it’s all very interesting now…and Yinrun has made it so….the little lady with the big punch…….

I think Yinrun is the only one who could do it accidentally.

She's one of my least favourites too. She's a nice person and if I knew her in the real world, I would celebrate and appreciate her a lot more, but I don't find her that interesting to watch on BB

….hmmmm, she could have said something to another housemate along the lines of her at least having a reason this time of a rule being broken etc …and not given thought to what she was saying…?….but then if it was anything similar, the person that she was taking to obviously didn’t realise either because they all seemed in total shock…it didn’t seem something blatant and obvious that any housemate picked up on…so it feels accidental atm until we know, Poppy…

I'd be surprised if it wasn't Trish she was talking to about it

…I actually can’t recall if Trish was shown when it was revealed to the house and what her reaction was…but if it wasn’t something that any housemate picked up at the time and mentioned…?…especially as it’s already been an incident…then then I’m thinking that it wasn’t very blatant and obvious as Hallie and Olivia’s was….but not the same punishment is interesting…and feels quite manipulative by the production…

They better tell us what she actually said tonight or I'll be pissed!

Ammi 25-10-2023 03:52 PM

…if the public/fans feel that there was manipulation…that would raise Yinrun’s popularity and ratings, though, I feel…so…

…yep for sure, possibly alienating the audience from the off is not a good look at all….the manipulation stuff was what harmed the last series…

I wonder if they did know, but they just carried on with the conversation and hoped BB wouldn't notice. It's amazing what hms think BB won't notice!

It's also possible the punishment came a long time after the event so they assumed Yinrun had got away with it.

It's fun speculating. It'll also be fun finding out the truth!
