She lives there but she doesn’t come from there, she’s from China.

But unsure why where she lives means she’s putting on an act.

Where I struggle is that if Yinrun grew up in China she would be a lot tougher than she is making out. Life is hard in China, there is no quarter given for fake emotion tantrums

…of course, duh…i had actually forgotten that in terms of just focusing on the writing on Olivia’s back incident…and not when Hallie wore the rule breaker sandwich board because she said that she thought Matty had nominated her…that’ll be it then…the why Hallie but not Olivia…because Hallie was a repeat offender and wore the board of shame…?…and Olivia was remorseful and never again…

…I love your wisdom of not overthinking and not under thinking and of thinking just right…and hey…….

…of course, you’re right…there was no fake emotional tantrum at all…there was a very real and very distraught and devastated young lady who innocently and unwittingly and unintentionally broke a rule and filled with regret and shame…/…bad big brother…

Not really. Depends on where and how she grew up. Life isn’t hard for everyone in China.
