And I would argue that most (not all) are decent people, it's we all as viewers get carried away with our own preferences a lot of the time, and embellish in particular traits that we view as negative from Housemates that we don't like.

With the exception of Dennis, Conor, and arguably Charlie Drummond, I would say that most Civilian BB contestants are harmless.

Yes, we all make adjustments daily to how we present ourselves, depending on our ‘audience’, and that’s not being fake, that’s adapting ourselves appropriately to a situation. Quite simply, we behave slightly differently in our place of work than we do perhaps with our parents, and we behave differently when with our parents than we do on a drunken night out with our friends. It’s about awareness and understanding of the appropriate boundaries within individual settings.
