Also, for those (correctly) calling out his greediness then that’s completely fair. Sure, call him greedy, or anything else associated with that. But when people start throwing out “fat bastard”, “obese” “vile pig” and so on, that’s when it goes into bullying territory. It’s embarrassing to read from so-called adults and in this day and age words like those can be incredibly harmful. People need to sort it out.

Here’s hoping Jenkin’s evicted on Friday though :hee:

And from people who are only to happy to call Jenkin and his lot nasty or cruel, or bullies, it’s very hypocritical

I understand and appreciate your sentiment, but in his case his obesity is a direct result of his gluttony and laziness. It is literally associated with his greed.

It's medically correct to call him obese, it's not bullying to use that term.

Like I say, my default position for big people is to treat them with kindess and respect, but in a case like his when it's clear who the person is beased on the behaviours then I am happy to talk about his weight for sure.

Babayaro. 06-11-2023 10:33 AM

I get that he is literally obese, but a lot of people on here are using that against him and it’s usually attached to a negative discussion about him

To be fair, he literally has made his size his personality. It's probably impossible to talk about one and not the other.

Like I say, calling him 'greedy' is just the same as calling him a 'fat bastard'.

If he wasn't a selfish greedy lazy glutton I doubt any but the worst here would mention his weight.

Babayaro. 06-11-2023 10:37 AM

“Greedy” is not the same as “fat bastard” cmon :joker:

Yes. calling an obsese person 'greedy' is just saying the same thing as calling them 'fat'.

but calling them a fat bastard is a completely different thing. There’s a degree of aggressiveness in there, which is the uncalled for part.

It is passive aggressive Vs. just aggressive, yes, but it is saying the same thing.

In the end though it's better that we don't attempt to police language of each other. If it is within the forum rules just let it pass, I guess. if it isn't, report it to be dealt with. We can always block people that we don't want to see the posts of.

But Jenkin's entire personality revolves around being bitchy & greedy. I'm hearing how ..he talked about stealing Jordan's diet coke just to be spiteful.

Like I said it's not nice to be gluttonous.

Will. 06-11-2023 11:04 AM

His whole personality is based around greed, and he bullies others due to his food addiction so in some way he deserves to be called some names because he uses his greed and obesity to harm others.

The way he spoke to yinran was horrible and this was because he is a morbidly obese man who can’t control his food addiction.

Will. 06-11-2023 11:07 AM

The fact he wanted a whole cake to himself

Kazanne 06-11-2023 11:09 AM

One thing I hate is greed and i don't care how big Jenkin is but he is very greedy and selfish , he has done himself no favours not wanting to share his cake and I note BB didn't show that on the main show !

Will. 06-11-2023 11:11 AM

But yes it’s not nice to use fat insults towards someone in an argument or anything to do with someone’s appearance.

Although his bullying towards yinran was directly a result of greed/food so saying things like “no wonder he’s obese” seems fair enough.

Concerning when someone wants to hold onto a whole cake.

I understand things like ben and jerrys ice cream tubs or a pack of Jaffa cakes, as that is quite easy to devour in one sitting by 1 person.

But a whole large cake lol

It’s so easy to finish the whole tub, I think ice cream is one of those things that is easy to keep eating

Ray. 06-11-2023 12:31 PM

Yeah sometimes I read certain harsh comments about housemates and I think to myself, do you really think you're coming across better than said housemate by saying such nasty things?

fitz2k2 06-11-2023 01:01 PM

Jenkins own crew is fat shaming him lol

exactly, over eating is as much of a mental health disorder as under eating

thesheriff443 06-11-2023 01:44 PM

Jenkin is a selfish lying thieving piece of sh1t

I don’t see anything other than greed

GlitterUK 06-11-2023 01:48 PM

Did he manage to eat it all?

Gusto Brunt 06-11-2023 03:08 PM

I used to be 22 stone so I know all about being fat! :p

But I am shocked Jenkin hasn't lost about 3 stone being in there.

He seems to be the same weight.
