…it also might not be a freelance journalist thing so much as a blogger thing…I really don’t know…

either way, you need to be at the top of the game to make enough money to be considered wealthy

Everybody seems to be basing his circumstances on those of his parents. Which is unfair to say the least. I know plenty wealthy people with struggling parents and vice versa. Take Marcus Rashford as an example. It really is a nonsense

…even if his parents were wealthy, he’s obviously doing things for himself and following his own paths….and his path seems to be from the heart rather than the income…

He does have a blue tick on instagram and he does have about 13,000 TikTok followers considering that’s before he can add any big brother fans to his account because they all had to be made private for big brother that shows he did have a bit of a following supposedly to do with work related stuff

The way he talks about money makes me think he’s not as wealthy as he would like everyone to think he is

His parents probably are. But he's following his own path.

He lives in Kensington, he's not exactly poor .

Tizmee 07-11-2023 07:01 PM

What if he is?

Big Brother is a ‘social programme’ that is surely not measured by what a houseguest may, or may not have.

Henry, when he fairly won the £1000, stated the money would help I’m pay his rent.
He has been criticised on this forum for living in Kensington. So what?
There are some delightful large properties in that area - that mega rich landlords have turned into multiple bedsits or studio apartments.
This does not automatically mean he lives in opulence.

As for his taste in food. This may well be derived from his upbringing and the way he was raised but, that is not his ‘fault’ per se …
Although, it may well have helped toward his capability of becoming a food critic, he should not be so sorely criticised.

I think he comes across as a thoroughly decent and well rounded individual, and although not my choice to win (Yinrun is), I cannot see why he should be so berated.

Let's face it, he probably has a wealthy family. But he has a good job and makes his own money. So not rich, but very comfortable.

Tizmee 07-11-2023 07:21 PM

That perhaps he just works hard for …
