I can't wait.
When do we think release could be? Summer/Autumn '24 or next Christmas? The latter probably. Hopefully not 2025. :skull: |

Maybe an £89.99 or £99.99 "ultimate edition" or whatever. Probably get a physical copy for £69.99 in some supermarkets but A) it'll sell out fast and B) what luddite wants a physical disk in 2024, yuck. |

I would've liked at least a basic synopsis of the plot in the trailer, I understand that gameplay footage would be unrealistic at this stage of development, but the vibe of what the Game is going for would've been nice.
Instead I just saw a lot of dancing and random events away from the main characters at certain parts of the trailer. I'm hoping for the Game to be good, but I am worried that modern western sensibilities will nuke it's quality, and so far nothing on the first trailer has made me change my mind. |
Just to add I was just watching a bunch of YouTubers reactions to the trailer, and of course reading the comments, and there is a lot of excitement for it on there.
I honestly hope that these people don't end up disappointed with it, I personally would've liked Rockstar to have not touched GTA again and leave it's legacy of being the "edgiest Game alive" in tact, because as weird as it is to say, but Rockstar are going after one of my favourite childhood franchises here, I loved in particular playing Vice City and San Andreas as a kid, and they weren't afraid to say or do offensive things, and have creative missions, something that I'm not entirely confident that the 2023 crew can pull off. I mean I still am remembering Cyberpunk's chat-A-thon segments with all of the Starbuck wannabes, which I can just unfortunately picture GTA VI being exactly like that. I honestly pray that I'm wrong, but western entertainment is lame nowadays, and I could even see Rockstar trying to "educate" us on why previous GTA Games were "bad" instead of trying to be entertaining, I can honestly picture it. I'll honestly be very happy if I hear something on one of the Radio Stations as iconic as "I think I've just shot my baby" as it requires an actual sense of humour (a morbid one) but still one nonetheless. |
I dunno, I gotta be real honest, GTA was actually never really that edgy. Especially GTA VI, I care more about the story and gameplay than that lol.
The first GTA V trailer didn't really show much either |

Nothing will beat the VCS trailers for me. But i thought for a first trailer it was fine. Its too long a wait to be that excited for it though. "coming 2025" That could be almost 2 years.

60million and growing
have watched the new GTA6 clip. Clever to use a Tom Petty music track. |

It’s a good trailer but it’s pretty similar to GTA 5 and even GTA 4’s trailer, a lot of scenery and a short bit of dialogue from the lead character.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn’t get released until December 2025 tho so I’m not over excited about it. |
Apparently a lot of the "tiktok" bits were mirrors of real life events xD
https://www.ign.com/articles/gta-6-m...s-from-florida I guess its to show us that Leonida will be a very true to life mirror of Florida |
I mean, Florida is absolutely bonkers IRL. So returning to "Vice City/Miami/Florida" was a good decision imo. Modern day Florida has certainly changed since the 80's.
