True plus Newcastle UFC have a ready made replacement

i don't see any big signings happening in this window and I don't consider Trippier a big signing

It’s feasible.. if he’s just what they’ve been missing

He’s probably light years ahead of the other players plus he’s a great leader and inspirational player

Fortuna Sittard transfer news

Out:

Ivor Pandur (GK) 2 million to Hull City

and possibly Tijani Noslin (FW) rumour is Hellas Verona want him for around 3 million

potentially making 5 million profit this winter is amazing for a club like Fortuna

In:

Justin Lonwijk (MF) on loan from Dinamo Kyiv

Michael Verrips (GK) brought back from his loan spell at FC Groningen

Kristoffer Peterson (FW) free agent, after his contract expired at Maccabi Haifa

if Noslin leaves, we need something in return up front otherwise looking pretty thin in that department

our 1st choice goalie is Luuk Koopmans, our cup goalie Michael Verrips

Nicky91 22-01-2024 01:23 PM

especially when we are in the quarter finals of the dutch cup (now drawn vs Groningen another away match either :idc:)

i don't rate groningen that highly tbh, as long as we keep a cool head, good chance of reaching of semi's maybe? but we do need something in return for Noslin (and tbh Noslin has my sympathies if he wants to sign with Hellas Verona)

Koopmans/Verrips

Dijks/Voet, Siovas/Fofana, Guth, Pinto/Markelo

Rosier, Duarte (sadly he is on africa cup duties now with Cape Verde)/Lonwijk, Halilovic/Griffith, Ferati and we also still got Ozyakub

Oratmangoen, Sierhuis/Peterson, Cordoba/Vita, and we also still have Belkheir, Robberechts, Lazetic

Nicky91 23-01-2024 08:34 AM

Fortuna Sittard has signed Jayden Braaf on loan from Hellas Verona, therefore there are truths of the transfer rumour of Tijani Noslin to the club from Verona

the 21 yr old forward Braaf, played in youth teams of Ajax and PSV before heading to Manchester City in 2018, and he signed with Hellas Verona in May last year, just recovered from a injury, the italian club wants to give him playing time on a loan spell in the eredivisie

decent work from Mr Americo Branco :clap2:

West Ham have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign England midfielder Kalvin Phillips on loan for the rest of the season.

Phillips, 28, signed a six-year contract when he arrived at City from Leeds in a £45m deal in July 2022.

However, he has struggled under Pep Guardiola and has only started twice this term in all competitions.

Phillips, who is also interesting Juventus, now appears set to have a medical in London later this week.

Personal terms are not expected to be a problem, with the Hammers set to cover Phillips' salary and there will be an option to make the move permanent.

yeah, i heard that a couple of days ago. Isaac is one of their best players, if Man U could grab him, he would be perfect

Newcastle just don't have the income to compete with the big clubs, so FFP is a real problem

Just a bit annoying that both Chelsea and now ManC got away with murder when they overspent wildly for many years

they have the income to back up their spending, it's that simple. Man U generated the biggest profit last season, and are crippled now because of ten hag's wasteful spending

Al-Nassr are lining up an audacious bid for Brazil midfielder Casemiro, 31, and ex-England Under-21 defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 26, as Manchester United prepare to offload some of their high-earning stars.

Manchester City have signed Argentina Under-17 midfielder Claudio Echeverri from River Plate.

City will pay about £12.5m for Echeverri, who has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract that runs to 2028.

The 18-year-old, who has made six first-team appearances for River Plate, will remain with the Argentine club throughout 2024.

City agreed a similar deal with River for Argentina forward Julian Alvarez in January 2022.

Manchester United have turned down the chance to land Karim Benzema with the club refusing to enter talks due to what they claim are "exorbitant" sums involved in bringing the 36-year-old, who earns £86m a year, to Old Trafford.
