La Reina del Sur is basically a spanish language narco soap

There is a far better english language version of it on Netflix called queen of the south

The Night Agent was basically a poor man's Reacher, which despite the tiny amount of characters was a pretty good first Season imo.

Where as The Night Agent just tried to ride off of Reacher's success, but being a weaker imitation.

And tbh Soaps are not my thing, but I'll take your word for it.

I did hear about that.

Tbh I can understand where you're coming from as I wouldn't like that kind of change in a Show that I'd been following for awhile.

Ozark and a rewatch of Breaking Bad are the only shows i remember watching on Netflix this year.

Netflix struggling so much they are gonna go with loan deals of content from Disney, HBO Max again :hehe:

and honestly HBO Max aren't doing much better than Netflix with their long wait between seasons of their top series :fan: also a mistake honestly

meanwhile Disney+ i think is a great move for 100% owners of 20th Century FOX + i remain saying it, that Disney has something for all ages basically, most content via Star/Hulu for the older viewers

for the children with Pixar, and also The Simpsons + classic disney kids shows

for the lovers of superheroes - Marvel

for the fans of LucasFilms - Star Wars and Indiana Jones collections

even holidays collection very clever move, halloween also having provided a nice collection of horrors tbh

for the fans of documentaries, real life non-scripted series: National Geographic section

i used to watch more Netflix when i solely had that, but i quickly switched loyalty to Disney (now with my own profile so i have my own recommendations)

I’m amazed that Disney are helping Netflix out .. they would benefit more if Netflix went bust

thats not how business works. People like/dislike brands so spreading stuff around to different suppliers generates more cash

Nicky91 20-12-2023 12:49 PM

wow, me and BOTS actually agree on something

and honestly if Netflix went bust, Disney wouldn't gain much more content from them, would more likely go to another service like HBO Max or SkyShowtime then

but i think Netflix can stay afloat with recent hype content like Squid Game, Stranger Things, and the recent purchase of Star Trek: Prodigy and the upcoming sequel series to JW: Camp Cretaceous

I was presuming that if Netflix went bust then Disney and the others would benefit massively by their customers moving elsewhere
