I would take an educated guess that Kate has had a hysterectomy like my sister had
Not a small operation and comes with risks of infection

I think the same…it’s a long recuperation period of normally 6 weeks plus. They are saying she won’t be back to normal duties until Easter which makes perfect sense.
I doubt too the future King would be advised to have ‘the snip’…

Unless of course there were other reasons around it…

I’m a little confused about William having the snip?

I seem to remember Princess Anne mentioned it in one of her recent sit down interviews that she thought there needed to be more members. Simply because of the amount of work involved...

they lost H & M and Andrew unexpectedly. Edward and Sophie have stepped up, and I would imagine Anne, Andrew and Edwards kids will step in if required, so there is no immediate crisis in numbers

2 weeks is a long time to be in hospital for a hysterectomy. My friend had one recently and although she was signed off for 6 weeks, she was out of hospital the next day recuperating at home. Considering one of the biggest killer in hospitals is infections that are picked up whilst in, I would have thought she would have been put a lot quicker than 10-14 days. . I know my friend is not quite as important as the future Queen but still seems a lengthy stay for something that is pretty routine and done countless times a day.

Unless she just wanted a bloody good rest, and who can blame her

When you no longer plan any more children either the woman has a hysterectomy or the man has a vasectomy....(not in everyones case though as some couples may just continue with contraception)
I was just saying Kate would be the obvious choice for the procedure because if anything, god forbid, happened to Kate and the children at least William 'could' if he chose to, produce an heir with another wife.

Does that make sense?

I mean anyone fawning over William, you know, being a husband and father needs to get a grip. It’s very pathetic.
