…one of the three people being questioned has now reportedly been released as they weren’t a part of it…it all still seems unclear and messy as to which people were involved …and the charges for the juveniles involved aren’t clear yet…

Two youths charged in connection with Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade shooting…

Two youths have been charged in connection with a deadly shooting at a Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.

Gunfire outside a nearby former train station in Kansas City, Missouri, sent crowds of fans at the rally running for safety on Wednesday.

One person - a local radio DJ named locally as Lisa Lopez-Galvan - was killed and more than 20 were injured. Three suspects were arrested in the aftermath.

Jackson County Family Court said the two youths who have been charged have been detained in the county's Juvenile Detention Centre "on gun-related and resisting arrest charges".

"Additional charges are expected in the future" as the police investigation continues, authorities added.

More than half of the victims in the shooting on Wednesday were also aged under 16, police said on Thursday.

One other youth, who was arrested earlier, has since been released after officers determined they were not involved.

The shooting outside Union Station occurred despite the presence of more than 800 police officers who were in the building and surrounding area.

Kansas City Chiefs' stars reacted with horror after the shooting.

The Chiefs' star quarterback Patrick Mahomes wrote on X: "Praying for Kansas City," shortly after the attack, while Travis Kelce, a Chiefs linebacker and boyfriend of Taylor Swift, said in a statement on Wednesday: "I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today.

"My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."

The parade was celebrating the Chiefs' win over the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22 in overtime.

…what will be interesting with this case is that the two people who have been charged are ‘juveniles’…/…under 18yrs old…and there was very recently a landmark case in Michigan, Jennifer Crumbley….?…I don’t know if you know of it, Caitlin…?…but the case was tried to show parent responsibility/culpability and accountabilty… these young juveniles were carrying armed weapons to a family sporting event parade ….as a direct result, what was an argument/dispute of some kind appeared to turn into a blood bath…it’ll be interesting to see if this leads to any parental charges also…

Parents should deffo be charged if they are under age. But what I always think about is what it if was a struggling single parent ? What about the absent parent? Shouldn’t the fact that they took off (for whatever reason) be a factor too? No positive role models of either gender…

It’s a vicious cycle and it feels like it’s never going to end
