i saw a few questionable films at the late night cinema, the only thing they ever had in common was they were all awful

It was a strange environment in those days, you could go to the cinema at 2am and stay there and sleep/sober up

If kids are fidgeting and not glued to the screen, then it didn't grab them. I know the signs

Yeah now that I’m an adult and have kids and work with kids, I can totally understand it. I was like 11 at the time haha

The only musical I'd go see at the theatre is the Father Ted Musical if it ever gets to be staged :'(

I'm up for a South Park Musical tbh.

The wolf of wall street. I walked out in utter disgust. Leo Dicaprio is the most overrated Hollywood actor. Titanic was the only movie he was good in.

Epic Movie (2007)

I can hardly even remember anything about it. I think I must have just wanted to see a lighthearted, 'turn off your brain and enjoy the ride' kinda movie.

The worst experience I had in the cinema was Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It was the first time for me that the spell was broken and I recognised that the prequels were maybe not the greatest movies lol. I've since come back around to them and enjoy them still, warts and all.

But ROTS soured me on them for a time and caused me to jump on the 'hate the prequels' bandwagon. Even aside from the disappointment at the quality of the film, I just remember desperately needing to go to the toilet during the climactic duel and not being able to, such was my even more fervent desperation to get some sense of enjoyment out of the experience lol.

In the end I didn't even enjoy that final duel. Immensely enjoyed my trip to the bathroom afterwards though.

I once watched the movie "Problem Child" at the pictures. It was a film brought out just after "Home Alone" It was obviously trying to copy the theme of young lad gets up to chaos.

It just wasn't close to the same league as "Home Alone"

But yeah, that was pretty sh!te.
