[Official documents show @praful nargund
was director of a US-owned private healthcare company
and helped make them £16million profit
in just 9 months, from UK patients.

Nargund only left his role just
prior to being publicly
announced as Labour's imposed
Islington North candidate.

There is an attempt to manufacture consent in this election. Corbyn was at 3% and Galloway was at 8% recently with yougov (tory owned polling). As I pointed out, maybe they both win, or maybe they both lose, but that polling is a disgraceful attempt to kid people into believing they're hopeless cases.

Jeremy is pretty much the only openly visible MP - who concentrates his work on his community and not fund raising from corporations, so if he does lose, to a private healthcare weirdo, then it's constituents who will lose out. But that's democracy.

I know. I've pointed this out from the minute he was allowed to stand. Exactly the Same as Luke Akehurst in Durham. Both scam artists

we talk like corruption in mp's is something out of the ordinary. It's the norm, not the exception

Me too.

No matter what view people hold on Corbyn.
In Islington North he really is regarded as an incredibly hardworking MP and a good constituency MP for all his constituents.

He's been there for 41 years.
Personally I think it would be sad if he loses this time.
However he is tied to the anti-Semitism issue and had he accepted in FULL the conclusions and instructions from the Equalities and Human Rights Commission plus the criticisms.
Which he didn't do so in full.
His choice.

I wish him good luck in this election.
However I do support that he couldn't stand for Labour now.

I saw a show with Mandelson on it and he was campaigning on the door step there. He said that Corbyn was unlikely to win. Of course, he is very biased, so you can' take from that what you like

I haven't been to that constituency.
However the news is it could be close although it's believed Labour are around 4% ahead of Corbyn.

It is sad in my view that a former leader lost the support of the Party.
No matter how good or bad they may have been.

As I've said many times, I didn't ever support Corbyn for leader but his 2017 manifesto was music to my ears.

The chair of the Islington North constituency Labour party has quit before she was expelled after being spotted campaigning for Jeremy Corbyn.

Alison McGarry resigned on Wednesday after a number of Labour activists campaigning for the party candidate, Praful Nargund, caught her and threatened to report her.

(Guardian)

what a vile bunch of people

bots 21-06-2024 07:42 AM

i don't have a problem with anyone standing in a democratic election if they are able to do the job. He isn't the labour leader anymore, so, why should anyone outside of his constituency care.

It's being put out there that Sunak may lose his seat. That would be a surprise, but nothing seems to be off the table these days

Yes those in Labour that support
Corbyn, must never tell anyone
or Starmer will hunt them down.

How about Akehurst who you refuse to comment on, who is a non-jew, saying openly that non-zionist jews are not real Jews.

Yours is a party rife with anti-Semitism, expelling more Jews from the party than all previous leaders combined. A party represented by Lisa nandy (non jew but prominent LFI), who laid AS at the feet of Sue Bird (a Jew).

Any comment on on these people, or are we just continuing to purposefully misrepresent both what Corbyn actually said, and the reasons he was expelled from the party - because it had nothing to do with AS.

Now you support a party that has not only dismissed that manifesto, but also turned it's back on it completely. Principles shouldn't be interchangeable.

I refuse to debate this with you Slim.
You are way too hostile about it .
However just to reiterate my position is.

I supported Miliband's policies which were a world away from Corbyn's
Then I supported Corbyn's too..
Just as I'll now support Starmer's.

I'm a Labour party member and voter and I STILL support the Party.
I will in good days and bad days BECAUSE I'll still believe until I come to believe otherwise, that's it's heart is in the right place still
That policies will have a level of fairness, justice, compassion and possible compromise about them.
Which I believe Starmer's has

That's my position re Labour.
I won't go in a huff with them just because they did not and don't do ALL I say or want.

That's my position.
You've given up on them that's fine but don't expect others to have to do the same just because you have !!!
I don't break my loyalties on a whim once given.

You think I'm hostile, because you don't have any way to either answer or address the points I make.

Still silent on Akehurst, have no problem with LFI non-jews telling jews that they either aren't real jews or they're anti Semites.

I can't reconcile how a person can switch through all this almost instantly and with even a modicum of intellectual honesty, so I'm interested in finding out where you're coming from. I only addressed you in this thread because you completely misrepresented what happened with Corbyn (yet again).
