In my opinion she's an average singer with average looks, average songs. Everything about her blown out of proportion. Her publicity machine has gone into warp drive. A lot of fake news and brainwashing of the masses, too. :p

She is fabulous at self promotion as well
… using famous people in her videos plus using her her love life to keep her relevant .

I recall her using and spitting out John Mayer years ago and nearly ruined his career

Only someone who hasn’t listened to her songs would say otherwise. She’s a very clever woman.

The thing about music is that nothing will ever appeal to everyone. It's just the way it is. The beatles were hated by everyone except teen girls when they first started, same with Rick Astley for that matter :laugh:

A marketing machine does not give the mega response that Swift has had, it just doesn't. There has to be something that a lot of people really like
