powers character,I don't think it would have the same effect with audiences.
Whether people like to admit it or not ,we prefer to look at athletic sexy attractive people as it's more visually appealing.

True on all points in my view.
Don't get me wrong though, I don't want say a singing competition to be all about people's looks (although it never hurts to have at least one attractive man, and one attractive woman for ratings,) but overall looks is not my priority on a Show like American Idol or The Voice.
It's all about what the product is about for me, because like you've said yourself, Hugo Boss Adverts need to have attractive men on the products that they're trying to sell to men, because psychologically a lot of guys will try it in the hopes of attracting women like Chris Hemsworth does in general.
