[PARIS, June 10 (Reuters) - The far-right National Rally
was forecast on Monday to win a snap election
in France but fall short of an absolute majority
in the first opinion poll published after
President Emmanuel Macron's shock
decision to dissolve parliament.
Following a massive loss for his Renaissance
party in Sunday's European Parliament election,
Macron announced snap elections
for the lower house of parliament,
with the first round scheduled
for June 30,
less than three weeks away,
and the run-off on July 7.]

Ch4HDnews Friday
had a France report.

The Left in France has joined
a 4 group together

The Far Right has become just The Right
they have a great deal of young voters

Like the Problem they have in Germany.

Yes now
the whole of the EU
are sharing the Migrants

Except for a few nations that prefer to pay the Fine
each time.

Map 1 - considering "left wing" splited in 4 :

They all lost in many cases.
We also see that Paris didn't felt in "what i think a trap".

Map 2 - Then if you consider same votes and you group the 4 "left wing" to build "Front populaire group" :

https://i.ibb.co/YLCZ5RX/02.png

They manage to get more power... but not enough (i mean at first vote). It shows the irritation of major french people. I believe (or hope) it's more arround "purchasing power" rather than immigration.

The other "small story" that might didn't pop outside France is Eric Ciotti, head of former let's say "Standard right" (the right from sarkozy, a bit Chirac, pretending a bit of De Gaules too, etc), Stuck and reducing between Macron and Far right. 48H hours after vote he said that his party joins "Far right". He took this decision alone. All his team, members, are disavowing him. It's now at the court. As members try to push him out of party, so this partnership decision becomes not official.

They try to make 3 Big Blocks :
- Left with extreme left
- Macron
- Right with extreme right

A young today who is bored of Macron has to join a group that has some extreme ideas. Mad! In my opinion. But Macron is so hated that this could happen... Sad!

We have French neighbours who spend the summer in Spain, they are flying to Madrid this week to sort out paperwork so they can send a postal vote.....respect to them

bots 26-06-2024 07:33 AM

it looks like Macron has hugely misjudged how people would vote in a snap election. The far right and far left are set to battle it out for power, while his party shrinks to nothing.

If we thought politics was bad here, well, all i can say is watch out for hoards of migrants heading in this direction, because they won't be safe in france. We all know how the french are with protests, the whole thing could get very ugly, very quickly

Amazing what the RN have achieved, topping the vote and a huge youth vote

The right in the UK could learn a lot from them
