Yes, but there's probably a lot of area not covered yet. Didn't he tell his friend that he was lost on the mountain? It would mean there would have had to have been a random kidnapper/s just hanging around a mountain waiting for someone to kidnap? Seems like a bizarre theory, I understand his mother wants to hope he's not dead but it seems extremely unlikely

I read she got a text to her phone saying this is the last time you will see you son alive, some horrible people out there who just thrive on other peoples misery, I can understand she is holding onto hope, but it is more likely he has just made a bad decision and the outcome is tragic

That's awful if true

He was involved in splitting another boys head open with a machete last year. Got away
with 18 months community service....

I'm not being flippant, but it looks like he did a Michael Mosley.

Only 1% battery on his phone (Mosley had no phone), in a scorching heat. No water. Never been hiking in a remote area before. Totally lost.

Insane.

It's his mother I feel sorry for, and his friends. Tragic. :(

or someone got revenge?

Livia 20-06-2024 01:13 PM

Someone getting a bit of payback, perhaps...?

Niamh. 20-06-2024 01:14 PM

On a mountain in Teneriffe while he's out hiking though? Seems a bit unlikely although if it is true that his mother got a message like that then maybe (or maybe someone just taunting her that was associated with that attack?) Does add a bit of a new spin on it for sure

bots 20-06-2024 01:16 PM

Didn't his girlfriend say he had hurt his leg or something? It certainly seems that there is a lot more to this than originally reported

Crimson Dynamo 20-06-2024 01:30 PM

He got in a car with 2 strangers Sunday night and then they drove him 40 mins to some gaff and then he posts a pic at 7.30am at the placeof an out-of-focus image of a hand holding a cigarettes. 2 hours later he is walking back and goes off the grid?

why would they not give him a lift back unless something bad happened and he wanted to get away

Beso 20-06-2024 02:40 PM

Sounds like hes been kidnapped for rape.

Because he was probably high as a kite at some random's afters. Realised the sun was rising and the comedown was kicking in so wanted to get to bed

That would be terrible

Vanessa 20-06-2024 06:05 PM

From what I'm reading online apparently he was involved with some not so nice people in Tenerife and he owed them a lot of money. Drugs related.
So I'd say kidnapping.
