Now that we know all Gareth is gonna do is swap Gallagher for Trent, a part of me want England to lose just to ramp up the pressure on him.

We know Southgate is stubborn with his selection but is he prepared to die on this hill. Lets put that to the test. When he was constantly selecting Maguire and Henderson its clear, to me, that he was digging his heels in just to make a point. Now lets see how far he is prepared to go with his stubbornness.

Come on Slovenia. I don't see how anyone can possibly think that just changing one element in the midfield will solve any problems and if England go into the knockout stage on the back of a defeat it could hopefully see the end of Gareth and coaching style that comes from another decade.

Mainoo for Gallagher is the only change.

Judging by Gareth lack of any other changes I think he is indeed trying to find a replacement for Kalvin Phillips. Surely he can see that's not the only thing wrong with the team

i think he will put Kane in goal for the next game and try pickford in midfield. He must be a natural replacement for Phillips
