But my impression of Davis is that he is more down to earth and humble anyway if I'm to try and base it off interviews etc. |

It's just Gal Gadot is extremely attractive imo. |

The thread of the story is not, as some might have us believe, about someone who is "extremely caucasian" :joker:. |

The true villain of Snow White is the mirror itself... representing intrusive subconscious vanity, deep-rooted insecurity, and the battle of ego vs aging? We're so deep, Ammi. |

But I'm glad that my appreciation of Gal Gadot has been noted. I hope that you're doing well btw. |

I'm mainly just thinking about a couple of big dates coming up for my family over the next few months, it's a bit hectic, but somehow we'll pull it off.:joker: |

Snow White 2: Happily Never After |
i mean Hugh Grant played an oompa loompa in Wonka, and he isn't an actor with dwarfism? Hugh played that exceptionally well too, and i'm no Hugh Grant fan normally
the grumpy actor here is an actor with dwarfism though https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Klebba whom already has experience in a previous snow white tv movie from 2001 too btw |
i wonder if Gal Gadot was inspired by Angelina Jolie to take on a disney character
i mean Jolie also does a stunning job with the Maleficent films i personally Gal a stunning casting for the role of Evil Queen, very versatile actress what she is  |

Honestly Ammi, Disney should just hire us. |
It looks quite good and fairytale-like.
I probably won't see it as I watched the original about a zillion times as a kid, and I'm still sick of it now despite not having seen it in YEARS  |

Well some of them are family members Birthdays, so they'll be fun hopefully. |
I don't understand why a traditional European fairy tale - Snow White is a German story - that features a girl called Snow White "because her skin was a white as snow" has a Latino girl in the lead role. They've already moved the Danish Little Mermaid to the Caribbean. Meanwhile, a live action version of Moana features Catherine Laga'aias of Samoan heritage because they wouldn't dare cast a black girl or a white girl for that. I wouldn't expect a traditional African story to feature an Asian actor or a traditional Indian story to feature a white actor. So why is it acceptable to blind cast traditional European fairy tales but be true to heritage when a story comes from outside Europe?

and as for Moana, well overall it is hawaiian, but honestly Samoan culture is not hugely different to hawaiian culture |
they keep Snow White as traditional as possible though
same traditional yellow dress, same hair style as from the original https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/wp...6&h=730&crop=1 even the dwarfs are styled the same as in the original animated classic yes one of the dwarfs is an actor with dwarfism, but the others are cast similar to Hugh Grant's casting as the oompa loompa in wonka, edited with CGI, not all actors with dwarfism feel something for this role same how they made Imelda Staunton a small fairy in Maleficent films through usage of CGI (whom played that stunningly well too) |
i personally might be in a minority but i just gotta hand it to production to pull off these visuals stunningly perfect compared to the classic
i also think this is getting criticism because of Rachel Zegler's entitledness and hating on the classic, which she shouldn't have done tbh, the classic was done a way long time ago, and everyone is perfectly entitled to have their own version of Snow White as long as it more or less looks the same the CGI Dwarves is a little disappointment not to use actual people but come on in todays world, we got a lot of CGI usage everywhere basically, it's almost like become normal in todays film & tv industry |
The CGI use on the Dwarves looks a bit creepy tbh.
