I’ve been trying to watch Band of Brothers for a while now but I’ve only found paid viewing, so that’s high on my watch list…plus The Wire, which has been highly recommended…The Dark, I didn’t put as a watched just because I’m not sure that I’ve seen the ending of it…I can’t recall tbh…

I'm sure band of brothers is on netflix @Ammi

Too low. Sopranos, Breaking bad, BCS, the Wire are all too low.

To put six feet under higher and as ne of the best shows of all time is laughable. When they were release we were all talking about the Sopranos, no one was talking about Six feet under.

Queens Gambit is good but not the best show of all time and it was only one series which loses points IMO

There are so many layers to BB and BCS that its an insult to have these mediocre show above it.

Homeland was an excellent series not on the list

I didn't think much to white lotus the first season, I tried to get into the second season...but I stopped,I might try and watch it again.

There are so many to mention that I cant help but5 rip the piss out of this lsit.

Seinfeld, Homicide life on the street, Sex and the city (early series), Oz, The shield, Curb your enthusiasm and even a show like 24 was outstanding in the early series. No, dont think much to that list

that chess pish at number one is a rid neck

WHen these lists are made there are always too many modern shows/albums/films etc.

Just taking the ratings only shows what is rated right now and not what is actually the best. It makes these lists pointless unless there has actually been some thought put into the show/albums/films that appear . So, my attitude is to rip the piss.

I largely agree with what you're saying.

But watch Parks & Recreation, it's a funny Show that whilst yes it's Politics certainly lean towards the left, they can also do some good ribbing at Leslie's infatuation with Hilary Clinton & Joe Biden.

Comedy shows usually date very quickly and many just aren't funny a few episodes in

Also, humour doesn't tend to translate well across the world, where other genres do

You have a point on a lot of them tbf.

But I would say that Parks & Recreation is one of the best in the genre for the USA.

I loved it to for the first couple of seasons but stopped watching a few seasons in (can't remember which one i stopped at)
