Could never take to DS, something about the forum layout puts me right off...I am a TiBBer through and through

I haven't been on there in ages but I posted a thread on there last night, and it's always the same old story. You'll post something and the other members all sort of gang up on you, and they'll pick out a word or phrase you mentioned, they'll twist it and try to make you look a fool. But it's them who look foolish but they cannot see it. :joker:

Why are they all like that. A weird collection of total planks.

UNLIKE THIS FORUM. Nice people. I love this forum. :hee:

Yeah…bunch of bullies on here a few years ago…thank god they all left us in a happier place. You have them to a tea…couldn’t handle it when got the better of. They thought they were so clever. Sadly a couple still dip in and out…but we all know who they are

He's talking about the Digital Spy forum not former members of tibb. Twisting things and looking foolish indeed.

No need…the motley crew that used to be on here went to DS to be amongst their own kind. Perhaps like most things it went right over your head…

You're thinking of discord, but I'm sure you'll continue twisting yourself into knots before admitting you were wrong so have at it :joker:

I’m not sure what happened on here, I just know it left a divide. When did it happen though?

Mystic Mock 03-10-2024 06:03 AM

DS has a lot of prickly people on there.

You have to have a very thick skin to handle it.

I mainly lurk on there nowadays, but I remember having some Jepic arguments on The X Factor section of the Forum back in the day.:joker:

I remember both Forums got unhinged with the loving up of Lewis F.

No offense to anyone on here that liked him, but it will always stick with me how tribal that got.

I think that it started happening around 2016-2017 period.

…oh I didn’t really notice it so much with Lewis F…I mean, I know that BB in general, especially in Channel 5 era…?…came to promote heroes and villains…but the most savage seasons for me…(…on either forum…)…were BB12 and 13, I think they were…

Ahh, as early as that. I left the forum in 2016 but didn’t realise it happened so soon after. Thought it was in the last year or two haha.

Oh they were savage too, and I actually was a fan of The Lord and Deana in those years.

I also remember the Ashleigh fans in Helen Wood's series could be a bit intense for me sometimes as well.

But I remember with Lewis F's year, that I barely posted a few weeks in, as I just couldn't take the excuses that bizarrely some of his fans would use to defend his allies, like I remember some of them championing Zoe to physically hit Hussain for example.:umm2: And it was just because he didn't like Lewis F.

I also remember I think his name was Akeem? Being accused of being a rapist by one of the Lewis F fans.

Those two moments really stuck with me personally.

It was when the Political scene became what we see today really.

Trump, Brexit etc.

Cherie 03-10-2024 06:49 AM

They couldn't live without you Ben

Benjamin 03-10-2024 06:53 AM

Tell a lie! I was here exactly when it started! It was the fake Tibb wedding in 2013 which started the bitter divide and it grew from there. I just got back from NZ prior!

Ammi 03-10-2024 06:59 AM

…yeah, the fake wedding led to another site and a huge divide…but that wasn’t it, though…?…I mean, that was just one divide which is long gone…there were others…(..probably many others since…)…because although we look back in nostalgia at lots of things, there were always divides as well…a different day, different members or sometimes similar/same members and same vibe of friendships and divides…
