Oh quoting my post twice, aren't I popular. Did you notice this reply you've quoted was in response to Arista saying he wishes to go back to those days? Am I not allowed to respond to him? Or is it just the British who are allowed "bleat"?

Am I nit allowed to respond to you, twice?

Beso 03-10-2024 03:42 PM

I bet Starmer is already drawing up plans to give the Falkland Islands 'back'.

He's a disgusting grovelling little specimen.

No
they are part of the UK.

Labour are keeping them, you are guessing wrong

Dogeatdog 03-10-2024 05:29 PM

I didn’t even know that we owned the Chagos Islands. What was we using it for exactly?

The Irish still feel hard done by because of the settlements established by Henry VIII and Cromwell, whereas most people in England recognise that the Romans and Vikings were among the architects of the country.

Of course,
This was done while there was no Parliament.

But those from the Chagos Islands
in the UK have been demanding
this for 10 years.

Ammi 04-10-2024 06:23 AM

…excellent for the people of the Chagos Islands, this has been disputed for many years…UK and US have kept jurisdiction of the military base which I guess is their only interest there…whereas for many it’s a home and a life…

Crimson Dynamo 04-10-2024 06:52 AM

i guess many jobs now lost

arista 04-10-2024 10:03 AM

Napoleon had the Island's first 1700's
Once we beat him
