Fair enough.

I personally would not like anyone destroying any of my stuff just to stay in a game, that to me shows that Thomas will be desperate enough to do almost anything to stay in the house.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate that he is competitive, but there should be limits imo.

I don’t perceive Thomas in the same way, as I really don’t think he was doing any real harm - he was just playing a game. To me he seems like a nice guy.

I would agree with you if someone destroyed something expensive or irreplaceable, but to me this didn’t feel such a big deal or so negative.

Life and people’s behaviour are all a matter of perception, though - we are all different because we we will have encountered different people and had different experiences, so therefore we won’t agree with everyone about everything. That’s okay, however, as it is what makes discussions interesting.

Tbh I can understand your POV, and Thomas isn't my worst in there anyway, I just personally didn't like his behaviour in that particular moment.

And I 100% agree with you that the more interesting discussions are normally when we all bring different perspectives to the table.

I can understand your POV too, and different perspectives give us the opportunity to reconsider and our own perceptions. It’s how we learn and grow in our thinking.

Exactly.

It's why I don't like cancel culture so much, because it can bar these kinds of discussions that we're both having now.

Obviously neither of us I don't believe have said anything extreme in this thread, but cancel culture can be a bitch.

Ultimately it changes the balance of popularity. It could be people not liking their actions or increasing the popularity of victims. Either way, it's a net loss

…yeah either that or it’s made known to the housemates that personal photographs ‘could be used in a task and destroyed for that purpose’…either way though, for any housemate who is part of that ‘destroying’ decision…(…and there is no right or wrong in it, obviously…)…also has to accept their own decision in that it’s a game of eviction essentially and last person standing, if we want to strip it down…and the public haven’t yet got to know any of the housemates that well yet, it’s early days…so that ‘game player’ has to accept that their choice also has a huge risk attached to it that it could impact voting choices coming up shortly….its not about agreeing with them for me, it’s about whether/how etc the playing will/could impact public voting decisions …more than anything, the most important part of the game is that they keep their place in the house as long as they can……

It's a game so yeah

If anything it's BB's fault for pushing the weird & uncomfortable boundaries. Shredding photos is mean ... hopefully they still have the negatives to redevelop them.

And I don't know why Nathan is piping up about Daze's tactics , he's probably got it in for her after their debate on the monarchy. Daze kept her promise to Lily ,so why is Nathan making a fuss about Daze not being ' genuine ' all of a sudden... Daze & Lily seem to be friends anyway , just because she isn't in love with the royal family like him
