Maybe she sees Sarah as the next weak link to target.

It ties in with that girl on L&L saying Ali hates men. I can understand her more with Marcello as he can be vulgar but Khaled was nothing but nice.

Its the guilt of leaving her husband I think

GlitterUK 20-10-2024 03:27 PM

Maybe her hubby looked like Khaled so thats him in the dog house and her hubby sounds like Marcello.
She likes Nathan it seems so at least we know his name wasn't Nathan.

Or she is able to sow seeds and step back, knowing at the moment that person then upsets someone (as everyone will at some point in that house) then the thought is there, waiting to take root.

Must have been a good looking guy then  , like I said the psychologist on L& L the other week... mentioned it's as if Khaled might remind her of someone from her past.... so i found that interesting.

People do project that onto others , it's like something they can't shake off. It's like when men say certain women " remind them of their ex " . It's either the pain is still there or they're not fully over their ex.

Well the only person getting upset so far in the series has been Ali so her supposed strategy isn’t working so well

I think you are all massively overthinking all this tbh

I think a lot of people who has been hurt by men in the past think all men are the same, so they don't give people a fair chance. Maybe she needs support for her past and maybe BB will make her realise she needs to look at some self love/self care/healing.

I'm only quoting what the therapist guy said on L& L :hee:  . But I do think there may be some weight to it,I'm not saying it's definitely her ex re: Khaled, but it could be an old friend or just someone she knew on her life who she had a falling out with.... it's possible, it's not unheard of.

Isn't it? There's a division between Khaled and Izaaz, who were originally close and, in the police task, Thomas seemed to air doubts too, albeit not sure where he stands after the limited feed last night. Hanah and Sarah seemed to be trying to understand what was up between them to.

It's a long game approach. Part of it waits on that HM upsetting others, and then the seeds will come forth. But the doubts are there.

I'd argue Ali's upset comes from perhaps choosing one Housemate who handled the accusation quite well, but it doesn't mean it hasn't had impact.

Just me suspicious of all these brand new members who have joined and instantly joined the ‘hate Ali’ brigade .. ??

I wonder…..

I've been on another forum but thought I'd come on here and there seemed to be more wide ranging views. Sometimes it's not good to be in an echo chamber. But I can stop posting if it suits.

Edit: As an aside, I don't hate Ali, but I do feel she has chosen to play the game a certain way. That's fine, it's a gameshow, but it is a discussion point.

Don't stop posting ,or don't feel like you have to stop . This is a forum and we all are entitled to share our opinions & thoughts:wavey: . we're bound to agree and disagree at times.... it's life lol.

And I do agree with you on your point about Ali .

GlitterUK 20-10-2024 04:24 PM

Welcome to the forum, all fans welcome.

Na

I just think its odd to have a group of brand new members joining at the same time and all jumping on the ‘slag off Ali’ bandwagon

To be honest if anyone should refrain from posting it should be ME as this place plays havoc with my mental wellbeing ..

The BigBrother house and forum is simply not a healthy place for people with Autism

Don't be silly Zizu, it's great to have new members joining regardless of their opinions on the HMs

That's not good, you shouldn't let a BB forum upset you so much. It's a reality TV show ,it shouldn't be that deep. Obviously I don't want anyone to feel that bad about their mental wellbeing though. So I hope you realise we don't all have to agree all the time. It's not a personal dig at you.

I think BB coming back had just generating more traffic towards the site, which can be positive & negative. But the point is... it's attracting more members & viewers, which helps this site I guess.

True enough

Thing is Ali is one of the favourites with the public to win according to the bookies

She is also the clear favourite with an online poll and yet all the new members seem to hate her .. statistically it makes no sense

There are other reasons for my suspicions..

I hope you do not leave the forum.

I think it's a balance to get right. I have friends with autism, I'm sure everyone knows at least someone with autism, so I appreciate what you mean.

Whilst it should be taken into account, at the same time it shouldn't be a go to for all behaviour in there. Everyone has their own idiosyncrasies, whether through nature (like Ali) or nuture (like, from what we heard on LF, Khaled), and it is all laid bare in the house.

I guess one thing I wonder why, stepping back, Ali does get the flack for the Khaled situation when it was Lily who bluntly called him 'fake' when sitting with the mezzanine group? Because she did actually take the lead when prompted by Izaaz?
