I have cooled in my liking for Ali.

Although I still do just not as much.
However I like her confrontations and much of what she has said about Khalid, others are also saying now.
She's a real mix of actions.
I think she'll still create more talking points via confrontation or just a general comeback comment.
So for me she remains an interesting housemate.

I totally applaud her on how she dealt with Marcello.
I think he was left totally confused with no real answers.
Yet also she never gave him any real answers either.
I really enjoyed that.

Tonight should be interesting. Sounds like even Nathan is siding with Khaled.

I find Ali a marmite character, loved her when she first walked in the house. Felt sorry for her being the only one with the boys and loved her hair. It was when she started on Khaled I went off her but still found her an entertaining housemate to watch and was intrigued by what her next move would be. I think when it comes to Khaled she is a bully. The more I see of her the more I think she is playing the game, which isn't a bad thing. But now she is at the stage where she won't let go, she is alike a dog with a bone which makes it uncomfy to watch - seeing her bully and belittle is no longer entertainment.

Do I think what we are seeing is the real Ali? - No.
I think she is gameplaying Ali and is trying to outsmart and analyse everyone in the house. She is doing her day job rather than show her true self.

I would love to know if her GF says what she is seeing is the Ali she knows or not, is this Ali too in the game?

…yeah, similar for me in that I’ve swayed back and forth with Ali and for a few days she seemed to have lost her sparkle a bit, in that she she seemed more ‘switched off’ from enjoying her experience…it might be that she sometimes makes reasonable points but sadly for me, she seems to be making them in an unreasonable way….I do think Marcello also should consider ‘his audience’ in some situations…but what Ali does for me in the way she addresses things…?…is she takes all focus away from any action or words of a housemate that might indeed feel inappropriate …?…and she places that focus back on herself in her own part …

Yeah, she makes it all about her being correct, she doesn't listen to people at all and that is surely a bad quality in a psychologist. Just listening to her in that live feed audio that was posted and when she's talking about Khaled it's all about how she's right and how she can read him and predict his behaviours etc

…I was just watching the Sneak Peek again…’are you done/cool/bye…’…as quick and blunt as that and without intending any pause to allow a voice from Khaled…?…that so made me think of a (..an awful…)…head teacher saying, ok our conversation is over until you tell me what I want you to…please go now….

..I mean, I want to like her and I definitely wouldn’t want to dislike her but she doesn’t make it easy because she only allows for Ali’s way or no way…

You make some fair points though we have to remember that they are in unbelievably stressful situation and every sense is heightened beyond our comprehension .
They are all arguably overreacting or unpredictably ..

The thing is the rest are more able to cope with CHANGE and many other things Ali will be struggling with internally

I wish there was an app to show what being autistic is like as it is so difficult to explain

…I do understand, Zizu…I’ve worked with many children on the spectrum, not adults but I do totally understand things that are a struggle for you…and I really don’t want to feel too harsh or dismissive etc with Ali…but she herself in what we’ve been shown has never referred to any condition in any reasoning or explanation or in a way of helping others understand that she has struggles with her own thought processing/interactions…?…in fact, some of her actions have been quite patronising and condescending and not allowing for any other view but her own…?….so that makes me think as well of that well known quote of…’If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism...’…in that the spectrum is obviously vast and complex so just as we can’t generalise any other personality characteristics…we also can’t do that with Ali…we can’t put her in a ‘box of possible autistic traits’ if you like in a one size fits all type way…the house environment may or may not be more of a struggle for her but we just don’t know that…

…I’m just starting to listen now so I haven’t got to any riveting bits just yet…:laugh:…
