I recommend the Cathedral, one of the biggest in the world and they serve a great roast dinner.

…oh if you’re doing TiBB requests in what you visit…?…/…and also on the statue theme…Cilla Black’s statue would be a great visit…there is lots of detail of her life on the statue…/…on her frock, I believe…

Interval time. It's absolutely fantastic. I love the show so much.

Thank you gorgeous xx

We are on our way back to the hotel. Not far to go.

Farewell Martha, you have been evicted. It came as no surprise.

@Ammi good morning Ammi and all. We are both awake. Planning a lovely cooked breakfast at Wetherspoons. It's called The King Alexander or something like that. Near the docks. Just gonna pop down to reception in a few minutes to see if they can supply me with 2 paracetamol. Banging head! Lol.

Oh Ammi yes it was that one by the Schitts Creek team. So much good music packed into 2 and a half hours. Matt Cardle...well I fell in love with him all over again. He can sing AND act! Who knew. @Kazanne. And Dr Ranj who played Lance was out of this world. I have no words to express my sheer amazement. He's a comedic genius and his voice, just wow! I clapped extra loud for him.

In life there are standout moments and memories that'll be with you forever. Last night is etched on my heart. I was even a bit tearful when the curtain went down, but with joy and happiness. To share it with Ness was the icing on the cake. She loved it too. It's so hard to believe our tickets were only £13 each and we were up in the circle so.had an excellent view.

We travel home mid afternoon, Vanessa's train is at 2.33pm and mine shortly after that. We'll pack as much in these few hours as we can. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.

Thanks so much to everyone who posted in.this thread wishing us a good time and giving suggestions of what to try and see.

We're going to look for the many Liverpool statues

Kate! 31-10-2024 09:14 AM

We just had breakfast in Wetherspoons @MTVN

Gorgeous. I had full English with toast. Perfectly cooked and very quick service. Plus a pint of pepsi. Vanessa had bottomless coffee. Set up for the day now.

I've had the most amazing time in Liverpool. Great to see Kate, who I consider a very very good friend.
The town is just as beautiful as I remember.
We saw the Cathedral and went to see the statues. I
Of course we had a drink at the Cavern before we left.
That's a really special place for all music lovers.

In my head I'm already planning us going again, cos we can do it so cheaply, thinking of a Christmas pantomime, I have a specific one on mind....it's Rapunzel and its on at The Everyman theatre. It's billed as a rock n roll musical panto. Sounds so good.
