Yeah right. I know marcello can be crass but I feel like he would have been called out for homophobia before now, especially by Dean. Dean threw out so many instant vile profanities about people and sees no wrong in how he spoke to people like Sarah, that he defo would have called Marcello out before this.

To me, this all happened because he couldn't have a puff. He had a lot of pent up vitriol that he just couldn't keep in check any longer so he let loose. None of what he said was probably true, he just basically disliked Sarah because she enjoyed a laugh with Marcello, and Dean didn't like others having a bit of fun

it may be true, but after the crap Dean has come out with recently and his obvious anger issues, he doesn't come across as being the most credible witness. I'm sure plenty other hm's would have had something to say if there had been homophobic slurs, they have pulled Marcello up on everything else he has said

The show hardly has a good history with media controversies. I'd rather the producers be brushing some unsavoury comments under the carpet than it's future being put at risk again.
