I have to say Emma is playing a really good game :clap1: , i don't always agree with her choices. But then she hands us a iconic moment and get's Dean evicted:flutter: . And she was also having Sarah's back, and basically saying... she didn't agree with what Dean said. It reminded me of when she stuck up for Hanah, it's a really good quality to show.
This is why i keep saying she is the strongest in the house, she's basically mother hen... and she's so well liked and gets alot of respect. She's the only person who can beat Lily in the final. She's an all rounder. She has people's trust, even when she nomms them... she can still sit with them or hug them and tell them it's basically "no hard feelings". She gives off a warmer , more genuine emotion. Ali needs to realise you can't force that type of connection, she thinks Hanah was ignoring her . But actually i think Hanah was pretty calm and responsive to her ... and she even explained , that she just wanted to have some time alone and look for a dress for eviction night. Surely Ali herself should understand needing time alone... to process being put up for eviction? . |
Emma is the most mature and emotionally secure HM in there by far. She has a bitchy side, sure, but she knows how to be tactful. She's not perfect but WYSIWYG with Emma.
Her handling of Dean's nom is a great example of that. You could tell the real reasons based on how she worded it, but it was very tastefully done and gave him a grace. He knew but couldn't tolerate it. Ran off to the DR to say how horrible everyone is and gave more excuses. He forgets that to win BB, one has to actually be likable, not just a strategic HM. Ali doesn't really seem to gravitate towards emotionally secure HMs. She gravitated towards Hanah when she seemed to be having trouble... then forgot about her when she saw she was had put herself back together without her help. It's more like lovebombing than true empathy. I don't know that Lily has abandoned her per say, but I think it's understandable and ideal she is spreading her wings with whatever time she has left in the BB house. I don't think Lily needs to lock down her experience around one or two people especially as she has more to give, I think... I mean Lily got Thomas to talk and actually give us a drama for once... of all things. |
I think the new split will be Ali, Nathan, Lily and BP with the other side being Khaled, Marcello, Hanah and Segun with Sarah, Emma and Thomas acting as floaters. I do think that the Villagers vs Vampires groups have mended some fractures with Ali and Khaled and also strengthened her relationship a little with Thomas and Emma. However I think it's done wonders for Lily as well in terms of her becoming closer to BP and Nathan.

Emma, Nathan, BP, Lily Hanah, Khaled, Segun, Thomas Sarah and Marcello floating between both groups and Ali floating but a likely target for both groups. |

I found it quite telling how the groups split immediately after Dean's eviction, but that could have just been coincidence. On L&L you could see Ali and BP eating together and then hugging. It's going to be interesting to see how the house forms. I'm really disappointed Ali nominated Hanah after their chat, but I do understand her reasons and I think had it not been for the V&V task, and particularly Nathan's comment, I think she would have voted for Khaled instead. I don't particularly think Ali has strong enough bonds with any of 'the other side' to float so she's definitely going to be up next eviction, and gone. |

this! i can't remember any meaningful conversation from emma? she's good at one liners but otherwise she's so careful to keep everyone else on side Mark L |
Tbh I think that some of the housemates just don’t find Ali that interesting. She’s like a robot sometimes, just blurting out nonsense about statistics and studies and I bet a lot of them don’t really give a toss.
She does have this habit of making herself a victim all the time and just taking everything way too seriously. If she actually joked about a bit and let her hair down she would be a better housemate. It’s like when Marcello was staring at her in the pool, anyone else would’ve known he was joking, I think even Lily clocked that it was a joke but instead of having a joke back, she just makes comments like “oh he only stares at me like that and no one else” playing the victim game again. |

One wrong word and you would get a lecture on how to be better. |

,I'm surprised she didn't get miserable at all the balloons on the floor .... in the Oblivious task. |

People keep making up reasons why Lily seems to be moving away from Ali, but in all honesty I think it's just out of sheer boredom. |
