Also what is Seguns great crime? He clearly is a bit conflicted about his relationship with Hanah so that's something he's trying to work through. He doesn't want it to be perceived as a romantic relationship but when all the housemates are in his ear about it that's going to make things awkward.

I think his comments about 'she always comes to me' were a bit poorly judged but not crime of the century especially compared to the comments other housemates have made about each other. And overall he's been a really good friend to Hanah so it wasn't nice of her 'home girls' to plant this idea that he's a total snake.

Poor Shegs :(

Yeah I feel he was thrown under the bus a bit, he has never been nominated for eviction either so obviously his HMs like him, Ali and Nathan are both so full of spite they cant contemplate that someone can be just nice, he is obviously committed to being a Christian and tries to live his life that way, not sure why there is so much suspicion about it, someone put it very well on L and L that he is not living up to the black man stereotype and that is throwing some people, if he were a fan fave and not Ali she would be called racist for some of her comments lbr, okay he hasn't handled it well, but then he has said he has never had a girl as a friend before and if he is in some sort of arrangement which I feel he might be, he might be feeling awkward about it, it made uncomfortable viewing last night, he was getting alot of Love on Late and Live though which was nice to see

…no, I didn’t feel sorry for him…he can be ‘two sides of the coin’ in that whatever bind he and Hanah have…it’s always felt to us and indeed to the housemates that it’s an equal/mutual thing…but in intimating that any affection or attention mainly came from Hanah, is just not good…the suggestion was that he needed a massage after the choice he’d had to make in the vault/a difficult day for him and did he go straight to Hanah to hope for that calming massage…Im thinking that’s quite likely…anyway, it’s not so much their friendship and what’s mutual etc…it’s how he’s reacted a few times when he’s felt something he thinks is ‘criticism’ …’it’s Hanah, honestly it it…’…’it was Marcello with the coining of the red witch label’….no sir, no Lord…it’s not me…

….he's not a bad person at all, but it sometimes feels as though he feels that he has to ‘be perfect’ and in doing that, he won’t self improve…because that first step it to acknowledge….

…anyway, it all gave a great moment of comedy for the others in his self pity in climbing the stairs ….

Everyone accused khalid of looking for the cameras but Segun went unnoticed

That's a very strong point

Hanah throwing him under the bus doesn't make her look great after they've been playing around with each other FOR WEEKS. She could've put it to him directly at any time... but Segun also could've done the same. Instead he kept up with the flirting in the house despite how it may have been perceived by others and it was very disrespectful to "his girl" on the outside. So yeah, neither look great, imo... Hanah gets away with not admitting she might have had feelings for him and Segun gets away with "being himself"... whoever that is.

Totally disagree here. Yes they're both flirting, the issue though is Segun was going around telling people that it's Hanah that's always coming over to him and he does nothing which isn't true at all. Hanah has never said anything like that about him. And she wasn't throwing him under the bus, I think she took, what must have been quite an upsetting thing to hear from people she trusts, extremely well. She was actually really nice to Segun when they spoke. It was his reactions that were a bit hilarious [emoji23]

…as Emma shouted up the stairs at Marcello…‘don’t forget to carry the bible…’……

…I think that Segun might have checked himself in the mirror to make sure that he was looking pity perfect before he made his climb of the mount…:fan:…

The whole thing made it a really funny episode for final week which can be boring. Actually my son and his g/f sat and watched the episode with me and they both laughed most of the way through it. I think that was the first time Luke actually watched a full episode. He said he'd love to go in and all [emoji23] I think he'd be a great HM

Could you imagine if he was HM, I'd have to leave the forum. Can you imagine people coming for my baby boy? :worry:

…and we’d all be circling around as well …like a movie Western, type big shoot our scene…one word, just one word and our guns would be out of the holsters and pointing right at that person who absolutely dared……it’s anyone who would criticise or besmirch him in any way who would have to leave for their own well being and safety…

Us screaming at the TV “his mum must be trash” :fist:

I do feel for family members, especially when a housemate gets a really negative reaction. Must be hard for them to deal with.

…do you recall when Alex Rose Lee’s mom joined the forum that year and it wasn’t (…too bad…)…until it got close to the final and then it was awful, she was distraught….

Yeah

Some people were horrendous. I was like sorry how you can be so horrendous about Alex who out of the finalists is clearly the nicest, especially when you have Jay and Aaron there.

…yeah, I can’t recall the details but it was pretty horrendous in going back to when she was 15yrs old or something…we don’t have those ruthless final weeks anymore which is a good thing….the highlight of that season for me and when I totally fell in love with Alex…was the fake tanning…?..no matter how many times a vid was shown, I could barely stay on the chair with laughing….hilarious and adorable…

The fake tanning

That was only one of two C5 BB’s I watched (the other being the Gina/Dexter season). I couldn’t get on board with C5 ruining BB.

No he asked where Sarah was as she was the one who gave massages as she works in a spa

Being a somewhat dour scotsman, i have an inbuilt natural aversion to people i would describe as being happy, clappy. They are just not to be trusted. No-one will shake me from that perception when i see it coming from some of that group every day

GlitterUK 14-11-2024 11:25 AM

I feel for him because he is in the dark only. The homegirls should have said your conversation with Khaled we watched and heard you instead so it was clearer.

Hanah didn't make anything out of it though, she was really nice to him considering people she trusts outside had left her a cryptic message about him and how he wasn't being real or whatever

Indeed.
Damage limitation for when he gets out and his girlfriend confronts him maybe.
Disingenuous and shifty with it.

Cherie 14-11-2024 12:27 PM

It was nice to see they could take the piss out of him taking his bible upstairs, which was funny, no one with have dared do that to Khaled or Hanah lbr
